  17. hello all, i have finished my appointments with the nutritionist today and also was cleared by the cardiologist. 1 more appointment with my pcp on tues . it has been a long 6 months of all these doctors appointments. but it will be worth it when i get that phone call from the insurance co that i am approved. keeping my fingers crossed. i joined a gym today with my husband. i figured i would get started with that too. how is everyone else doing??
  18. i thought i might do that still checking on it
  19. hello, i have been married for 29 years to a very supportive and loving husband. i have 2 children 28 and 26 no grand kids yet. i live in pennsylvania. my last pcp appointment is dec 4th then all paper work goes to the insurance co. if approved the dr's office will call with a date. keeping my fingers crossed. and i am done with my christmas shopping..yippee
  20. let's tell each other a little about ourselves. since we are going on this journey together i think it would be nice. what do you think?? you stuff like married? kids? occupation ect
  21. i also like the wal-mart brand i have experimented with adding different things to it for a change of pace. currently i am using vanilla protein powder milk and 1/4 c pumpkin . i added the spices just like in the pie and some equal ahead of time. tastes great. or with the chocolate powder milk and a little sugar free chocolate pudding.
  22. i do not think they can tell you that you can not have off. they need no details just that you will be off due to surgery.
  23. hello everyone, well i had my monthly doctors appointment today. i lost 6 pounds, that puts my BMI below 40 but the insurance might only cover if it is more than 40. now they want me to see a cardiologist. and the nutritionist wants to see me the week after thanksgiving. i have my last doctors appointment on dec 4th. then they will send all the paper work to the insurance co. to be approved. i guess i will keep my fingers crossed hope everyone is well. do you think we should start an exercise thing before everyone is banded???
  24. i too have upmc insurance. it is worth the wait because it is giving me the time to do all the research. but it does get frustrating. having to jump thru the hoops of insurance but .... they are paying for it. hang in there the time will fly by
