  1. hello, i also bought the 100% whey from walmart. chocolate is good what i do is 3/4c skim milk, 1/4c dannon vanilla yogart,vanilla extract and some ice cubes. and it does fill me up. i am still experimenting with the vanilla. good luck

    hello telecia, i think it is great that you are going to get things rolling. stick with it. i was nervious when i started the process. i have not been banded yet. for my insurance i have to do weight management with my doctor for 6 months first. i am in the midle of month 2. i am getting excited i want to get this whole thing going. stay positive . it will all work out. good luck
  3. hi , i reciently bought a scale at wal mart. it loks like it is glass name on it is taylor. it is digital and goes up to 400lbs. it was about 29.00 dollars.

  6. hi, johnstown is not too far, not sure where waters is at. where are you having your surgery done? you are probably soooo excited. just had doctor's appt i have to do 6 months of supervised weight management today is the end of month 1 i lost 11 pounds. 5 more months to go. then on to banding.. you will have to teel how you are doing after your banding.. good luck :whoo:

  10. hang in there. things will go fine.. i also went to magee for my doctors appt. same office but different doctor i saw carol mccloskey. i have my nutritionist and psyc appointment at the end of july. for the insurance i have to do the 6 month weight management. writtind down all that i eat everyday and also document my walking everyday. so my 6 months is not up till december. so i think i am looking at jan or feb surgery. stay positive. :clap2::clap2::clap2:
  11. i just had my appt with my surgeon. she is great. i am so excited about getting the surgery. my insurance requires 6 months of supervised weight management so today is day 1 of that this 6 months is going to drag. have a good day
  12. this is my first time here. i am not banded yet. just went to a seminar and have been researching on my own. found this web site. there is soooooo much info here. i am writing down questions for my doctor that i did not even think about after reading on this site. thanks
