I use Unjury chicken flavored soup, it's AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am almost a year out and I still can't drink. My B-day was August the 8th, I had 2 sips of some wine and felt like I had drank a 5th of vodka:) I threw up and my stomach still burns as of today. No more for me!!!!!

Also try sugar-free popsicles, that saved me. You have to get the liquids in some kind of way, because you will find yourself in the hospital for dehydration and you don't want that to happen. Good luck to you:)

Wow! I always used low sodium chicken broth and it is awesome. I use Unjury Chicken Soup Mix everyday for my snack. I always mix it and warm it slowly.

I didn't use to have a problem with just drinking tap water, until I had my surgery. I can only drink flavored water, and know that's minimal. In order to get my water in I can only drink Fruit Punch Crystal Light, hopefully it will change.

You guys are fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that I know that pickle juice can be used for different remedies, I will save my pickle juice instead of discarding it. Does it matter if it's sweet or sour, because I like the sweet pickles by Famous Dave's they are the best.

Yes please go have it checked out, the test is called a Venous Duplex Doppler and it's to check your extremities for blood clots and It's painless. Ms. Ashlie Marie is right, clots do travel and once it gets to your heart it can kill you. I was having pain in my left leg upper thigh, and I had the Doppler and thank god everything checked out good. Make sure you are walking every hour on the hour to get that blood flowing through your body, that is very important as you are going through your healing process and it also prevents blood clots from forming. Good luck! And please go make sure it's not a clot, but if it is your physician will put you on a blood thinner for anti-coagulation therapy You are embarking on a new life and you want to be around to enjoy it:)

My doctor said no more drinking, because of the caloric intake, and I'm not planning on gaining any weight back! But then again it wasn't a big deal for me to stop completely, because I was never a heavy drinker anyway.

Well you have stitches and you don't want to do anything to damage your progress. Believe me I know it's hard I have a husband, and there are lots of ways to get satisfaction other then penetration. Be creative, and besides think about your health.

Listen here Ms. LADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No giving up, that is not allowed and you are doing a great job. Stay focused, and stay on track. Make sure you are drinking lots of water and taking in your protein. Things will get better and please have a positive attitude, that always help.

I have never heard of it. TES, when you said grilling it is great, is the texture look Tofu? does it melt? and does it taste rich and creamy? I'm sorry for all of the questions, but I would like to know before I purchase it. Thank you:)

You guys are so right, food addiction is hell;0( I have started going to over eaters anonymous, so that I can understand why I have/had this addiction in the first place. Now that I understand, I will not convert back to my old habits and It's been working! I feel like I am addressing all of my issues so that I can stay healthy and I will never look back and I can continue to enjoy the new me:)

It's amazing how everyone's experience was different. I never received a Catheter, after waking up, they had me walking, and using the restroom with assistance from the nurse of course; because I was still kind of out of it..
