I have gallstones.which means they wanna take my gallbladder out since ill already be opened up. Is the recovery and different?

For your 6month diet they are already starting you on 2 protien Shakes a day with one meal? That's usually reserved for 2-4 wks prior to surgery to shrink the liver. I am on month 5 of my 6 month mandatory medical diet ( which I habnt.lost much of anything). Good luck to you.

Back when I lost 80lbs on my own I still had big ol boobies and a big.ol bootay. Its almost like everything else shrunk but that stayed the same. I'm ok with they getting smaller... alllllll of me needs.to get smaller. I'm not gonna loose my sexy and neither will you

Maybe your just not ready YET. And I say YET bc you can change.your mind ... that's ok. Don't force yourself or talking yourself into doing something.you aren't sure about. Wls will still be here next year. Who knows maybe you really are ready to do this on your own w/o wls. Best of luck to you.

No u don't have issues succeeding ... u have issues eating. We all do. That's why we are all here. I know at my drs office they have a support group and.support meeting 2xs a month, at least. You may want to call and ask your drs office if they do or know of any. If u can't ... everyone here is great!

I have read that the sleeve has actually been around for a very very long time ... it was the first step of a bypass when the patient SLOWED/stopped loosing weight with the sleeve then they would complete the bypass. Earlier someone mentioned first getting the sleeve and then.the.bypass... that's why I mentioned that.

I have such a big mouth and no shame (and please don't take that literally) but as soon as I knew in my heart that this is what I was doing I told everyone. Coworkers... friends... family... strangers...whoever. I wanted to tell my boss expecially early bc I've had a lot of drs appointments and I want to make sure they have ample time to find my mini replacement while I'm off.

Well if I've read correctly isn't the sleeve the first part of the bypass?

How long did u have your anthem though before you did all this?

Ok so after the first of the year I may have turn purchase insurance thru my work... my question is... if I was to get private insurance effective January 1st.. can I start right away or is there a waiting periods? Anyone have experience with this. I'm not even forsure if it'll be anthem I just know they are looking into it.
