Pop?
Now you shouldn't, it's carbonated and will definitely give you gas. It will also give you pains in your stomach. Not a good feeling ... Trust me I was told if you going to drink a soda you should let it go flat, which kind of defeats the purpose of drinking a soda. CoolBreeze

This is my VST folder. Thanks for sharing. Keep em coming- What Can Cause A Leak?
Had surgery on June 26 and I couldn't hold liquid down for more than 10-15 min about 10 days after surgery. Went to see my doc (1st appt after surgery was July 9), he sent me for an x-ray and found no leaks (thank God) but could not figure why I was not holding liquid so he put me on an previcid(ish) medication - I can't pronounce the word - now almost 4 months post op I'm doing fine and was given permission to try any type of food except raw foods and if I can tolerate (the first time) it I can put it on the list to eat - but sparingly....if I can't tolerate it - LEAVE IT ALONE - FOR GOOD. Continued success to you- Is There An App For That?
I use MFP to keep track of my water, protein, carbs, calories ect. It has become staple on my iPhone. lol I'm on it everyday. I'm not sure there is another app and if there is...I stay with MFP.- New To This Forum.....august Sleever
Same here...11 weeks 52 wonderful! congrats on being Sleeved and welcome to VST.- Working Out Ti Much?
I agree that if you feel ok then go for it. Now having said tha,You just have to be careful that you're not going too fast too soon and burn out too quick. Jump starting again could be slow process. You should give yourself a rest day in between the workouts. You don't want your body to give out far in advance of you getting to goal. 7 days in week...exercise 1 day, rest, exercise, rest, exercise, rest - saves wear-n-tear on the body. Just a suggestion. Good luck.- Ricotta Cheese Bake
this could be brunch tomorrow- Ricotta Cheese Bake
I'm putting this one in my VST folder- Paella?
I have yet to try quinoa, what does it taste like... it the texture of rice, couscous? I'm ready for new ideas.- Water
I agree with rootman. 10 days out for me was about an oz every 15 min or so...getting in 4 oz in 15 min is amazing, but it will depend on how often you go to bathroom too. and what color your urine is, and if it's too dark I would suggest the ER .... to be on the safe side. At least a phone call to the doctor's office. Bottom line, drink at the pace you are comfortable with. Blessings to you Much success on your journey- Sugar Free Pudding Pops

Has anyone done Rock Climbing (Indoor that is) before? It one of things on my post-op list to do. Has anyone done it since surgery. How was it? How do you prepare for rock climb? What do you wear.. shoes, pants/shorts etc. Thanks.- When Can You Start Bike Riding?
That sounds awsome. I'm not bike commuter...yet, but that is on my post surgical list of things I would like to do. If it takes around 25-30 minuets on the bus from home I wonder how long it would be on a bike? And interestingly enough it is relatively a straight shot to work (bus doesn't make that many turns). Kinda like the distance from the US Capital to the White House -- straight up and down Pennsylvania Ave. As a TOTAL beginner bike rider (real soon) what would be your list of things to get - the must haves as well as "ok I want this too". I know the Helmet...but.... take it from there Oh yeah, I'm post op 3 months plus.- Shrimp - What Else Can You Fix With It?
Not too fond of the chilies but I would fix this one, thanks for sharing - Hearty Canned Soup
