Will This Go Away ?
I agree with NDN_RN, GO TO YOUR DOCTOR, Please. I had the same thing happen to me just days after surgery. When I went to my dr's and test were run I was admitted for 3 days. My doc took no chances. And I was given nausea medication while in the hospital. Go see what your doctor says.

I'm Mourning Something Stupid.....
In addition to Craiglist, you could also try Ebay or Amazon. But I vote for the organization that helps women dress for interviews for employment and yes you write it off on your taxes.

Post Op And Headaches
I guess I'm kinda lucky, I do not drink crystal light. I found that sugar-free generic brands are just as tasty if not better tasting. Here lately I hav been making unsweetened iced-t and putting in a packet (or 2) of splenda as I drink it. It taste good, decaf, and it last...I make it by the gallon. I have had sugar-free drinks such as fruit punch, grape, peach iced-t and they all taste great - I don't miss crystal light at all.

Calcium "horse" Pills
Has anyone had trouble swallowing those giagantic calcium pills we have to take 2-3 times a day? They have got to be the biggest pills on the market. . And if the calcium has all that the dr's want us to have, do we need to still take and extra dose? Like the B12 - if that's in calcium do you still need the pill? I HATE TAKING PILLS  . If I drink 3 glasses of milk a day will I be getting the right amount of calcium without taking the pills? Thanks for your responses.

How Many Ppl Exercised During Their Weight Loss Phase?
My doc cleared me for exercise but because I am still having back troubles, he said start slow and work your way up. I am getting a resistance band (it worked for me in the past) and will start with that for now. I don't have a gym membership at the moment but maybe later on down the line. I do walk, about 30 - 40 min each day (part of it is my job) and that helps. Since the weather is so darn hot in DC I've taken to walking in the building where I work. Not only does my backgive me fits but my knees as well - arthuritis does not care who it hits or hurts - but I will push on.

Walking...in A Group
I was wondering if there are any June sleevers in the Washington DC area that might be interested in forming a walking group? I like walking but just do not feel comfortable walking alone. My dr has cleared me to exercise but stll taking it gradually. Thanks

5 Days Post Op-Large Purple "bruise"-No Pain
I got some bruising but mine too were due to the blood thinner shots they gave me afterwards. Those shots hurt everytime they gave it to me. I hated it.

Sorry to hear about your mom, I lost my mother May '06 and I am still missing her so much especially now. I am glad you made it home safely and the plane wasn't turned around which I agree would not have made much since. I still have to catch myself when it comes to drinking water/tea and such. I can down a 16oz bottle in a heart beat...and I'm pretty sure that would hurt my heart now, but every once in awhile I take more than sip but stop before swallow too fast. Boy do I miss my Pepsi...lol- The Jorney Begins...
June Sleeve Gurl here. Its been 3 weeks since my sleeve surgery and things were a bit rocky in the beginning. I went back for my 2 week after surgery appt. I could not hold down any liquids. Mind you, this was the FIRST week home from surgery. When I went to see my doctor he had me go down to x-ray and I had to take this AWFUL tasting liquid and thats when it happened, when we were finished, I tried to turn over to get off the table and I let it all out...what ever it was came up and out. I spent 3 more days in the hospital with my doctor trying to figure out what happened. Things are looking up, I'm holding food (protein & vitamins) down now. The good news is the x-rays showed no damage to the sleeve. My doctor has moved me into stage 2. Has anyone else had a setback similar? I was scared out of my mind! How are the June sleevers doing so far? - The Jorney Begins...
