The Scale Ugh!

I've lost 16 lbs in one month, pre and post op. I'm at 2 weeks post op today. Anyone have similar results? A lot of folks have such higher numbers. Anyone like me?

Me. I was about the same at two weeks post op. I hit 25 lbs lost, and I've stalled for 2 weeks. It is frusterating, but hopefully will pass soon.

It will past. I stalled about a week and half ago. lost 3lbs...gained 2, huh?!? :o:blink:

I need to start losing....NOW! :unsure::wacko::blink: c'mon now.

We can do it...we'll do it together.

My weight loss is very slow too. I have lost 21lbs in 7 weeks including my pre op diet and am kind of losing interest with it all. I was weighing myself every day but haven't done so for about 4 days now. Everyone else seems to be doing so well, I don't like being the slow one :-(

I think that quick loss throws my body for a loop, and the "stalls" are its way of catching up to its new self. I work hard not to get discouraged, but I sure do feel better on the 2-pound-down days!! ;)

Thanks for helping keep things in perspective for me. I'll just keep on keeping on :)

I have lost 22 pounds in 7 weeks.... I just thought it would be faster. I look and feel very differant but the scale just wont budge.....

taylor - it just takes time, you'll do it. i thought i would have lost more than i have but when i look at where i was just 2 mos. ago, i'm happy -- i've lost 37lbs since havin surgery june 26. i've tried to lose that the last 2yrs. and to no avail. so be patient, do what your drs say and the weight will come off. :)
