  1. Now down 72-76 pounds. Depends on the day Lol. The last 30 will definitely be the hardest. Feeling great and I love to cross my legs. NSV...wore a skirt and it looked great and felt great. Now when I get in my car I just jump in and don't worry about not looking like its a struggle. LOVE IT!
  2. A while back ill check it out again.
  3. I'm having a serious stall. Start weight 282, now 214. I am happy with my success but still 39 pounds from goal. I can now each just about anything, of course in smaller portions but have few restrictions. I was sleeves July 2012. Frankly I'm a bit scared. I don't want to stop here, I want to reach goal but I'm afraid I won't get there. I wanted to hit Onederland in Jan 13, but here I am in March and stalled. I know I have not done all I can. I have now joined the gym as I have not fully implemented exercise into my plan. Anybody else going through this? I remember reading most lose 70% of their excess weight and that's pretty much where im at and I fear I won't have the discipline to reach goal .
  4. I'm down 68 pounds and 35 pounds until goal. Feeling fabulous but still not exercising enough. Just rejoined the gym today. Updated photos attached
  5. Nicholanz said it perfect. If that's ambiguous in any way then it's like my Mama said, "can't argue with ignorance". There, how's that for honest. No rainbows or unicorns just plain truth. As I'm typing I'm wondering why I even care and its because I hate when someone is being vulnerable and someone stomps on their feelings. I'm done with this thread also. And to the OP, we all make mistakes and yes they can be costly but kicking u while your down is not what the "majority" of us are here for. Good luck!
  6. Down 62 pounds now and things are starting to slow. I find myself not making such good choices. I really need to come back to these forums more often. I feel more motivated each time I do. I wanted to hit Onederland by the new year but may not make it. Still have 20 to go. That's ok though it WILL come off and it's funny I haven't even thought about my ultimate goal weight and it is so much closer than ever! That's very exciting! Lets all keep up the good work Nd congrats to all
  7. You look amazing and by that smile I bet u feel that way too
  8. Yes I know about her complications but that doesnt justify lashing out. And I've seen it repeatedly. Why do u think the OP reacted that way? She seems very capable of "assertive" feedback? Anyway it's lost on the deaf. A little sensitivity to someone who's struggling is definitely called for and as u can see it highjacks the conversation.
  9. Just hit 60 pounds since I began this journey:)
  10. Thanks echick. I'm 3+ months out and I know the stage you're at. I'm somewhat beyond that and am just so off track probably that I continue to be frustrated day to day. I am kinda all over the place with what I'm eating. I'm not being as disciplined as I was and its bothering me a lot.
  11. I do see it as a positive. I just get frustrated at times. I need to make an observation though. It seems like many of us are unwilling to look at some of the harsher realities of being sleeved. Yes I am thrilled with my weight loss and being sleeved. I am also frustrated at some of the aspects of being sleeved. Mainly wanted to vent and see if others ever feel the same. You noticed I said sometimes I hate "food" not my sleeve. Anyway thanks for the encouragement.
  12. I am starting to really hate food more and more. What to eat? Will it make me feel sick? Will I be stuffed and miserable afterwards? I am completely off program and have lost my direction. I also miss just sitting down to a meal and enjoying it instead of a few bites then discomfort. Help!
  13. I split my time between Paso Robles and Santa Barbara California
  14. Last night I ate 2 small chicken wings and I felt horrible . Never again!
  15. This is such a tough spot to be. It sounds desperately familiar. It's such an out of control feeling. I can't give advise because I hope and pray I don't return there and am not sure if I have the emotional healing that can keep it at bay. Sending u big huggs, keep us posted and if u see someone for food issues now is definitely the time.
  16. The reason I started this thread was to try and gauge how others were handling their food choices and the attitudes around them. I see and have seen in the responses and in this forum everything from strict regimens to none at all. I am 11 weeks post op and am doing well losing steadily. I feel fabulous. I am troubled somewhat though on how to eat for long term success. I am basically structured, yogurt, cheese, protein drinks etc... However, I still find pleasure in eating and am trying to regulate that in a reasonably healthy way while still enjoying food. When people say they are still on plan what does that mean? I realize the digestive restricted items that u have to work up to but do they mean dieting? I look closely at what I eat and of course stop when full. But I don't put a lot of restrictions on myself. I eat within reason, I drink within reason, and I'm satisfied with ny efforts but scared when I see how strict some people are. I guess what I'm saying is I'm not sure I'm headed in the right direction. The nutritional info I got pre pp was sooo unrealistic. I mean basically it was dieting for the rest of my life. I am dedicated to success but my definition may be completely different. How do u guys feel?
