talked to doc about erosion...he said....
I find what Michelle said very interesting, I would love to know the true statistics about those two weeks, the two doctors and erosions that have occurred on other LB patients. Do any of you belong to other LB sites so that you could pose this question? I realize there's a privacy act, but it looks like the removal doctors could get some info from the FDA.

January's Chat
Cindy, I never take what you say as sarcastic, just straight from the heart or I know you're kidding. You don't have a hateful bone in your body girl. Anne, I know you didn't buy that Lite Brite, was somebody mad at you and bought that for your DS, LOL. I had this sister n law I didn't get a long with, so every year I use to give her girls these huge PlayDough sets, now Cindy you know who the evil one is, hehehehe. Doc, the 12th is soon, go eat a big hamburger for me, with lots of mayo. Sherry good luck on getting a date. Eileen, did you quit working? I thought you went back to work last week. Snowing again, I think I already posted on here, but we had severe thunderstorms with lightning last night, my mom said it's an old wives tale that when that happens in the winter you usually have snow within 7 days, guess we'll see. Speaking of daycare, I got gson #2 tomorrow, 1/2 a day, he wears my ash out, LOL.

Rabbits and Turtles United New Year Challenge
More gifts, I'm in! NSV, helped my secretary clean her new place, including the refridgerator, I had practically my entire body in that thing, cleaning every inch of it, in a squat position. Before I wouldn't have been able to fit into the fridge, or bed over that long, much less squat, stand, squat, stand, kept getting up to change the nasty Water. AND, I wasn't even sore the next day, but she was, and she's 30 years younger than me, LOL.

Free Exercise Music Cd
Kare, I know this is odd, but I'd love a Richard Simmons, grooving to the oldiest DVD, where can I get one?

Did you do a barium swallow after surgery?
I was released the following morning, after the swallowing test. I'm glad I had it done then, especially since I'm not filled under flouro. I do think everyone should be filled under flouro, then there's less of a chance for puncturing the tube and better knowledge of the fill is immediately available.

Holiday OverPacked Pouch
Fortunately, but unfortunately, cookies and fudge seem to dissolve way to easy, at least for me. I doubt you've overpacked, but please let us know what dr said after fluoro.

Finally
Congratulations, love the toe polish.

Those of you who are banded, do you exercise?
I need to get some Richard Simmons tapes, like groovin to the oldies, I think I could handle that, though, I'd probably need shades for my exercise room.

Ungrateful gift getters'
As an older mom, the idea of receiving Omaha steaks is a good one. Giving is so much more rewarding than receiving, maybe it's an age thing, but I truly would rather give, I hate opening presents, because if it's something I'll never use or don't like, I have a hard time being excited.

Digital Cameras Pros and Cons
Wheetsin, I'd say my new goal is more serious hobby and of course the memories. Like I mentioned above the DX6440 is great for everyday, but when you have those really special moments, or that keepsake shot of the grandkids, or an egret or herron flying by, I think I'd need the SLR digital. I've looked into the Rebel, especially since I already have the dinasour Rebel that uses REAL film, LOL. I wonder if my old lenses would fit, wouldn't that be a hoot!

January's Chat
Cindy, I wasn't complaining, I luv my Texas Santa! Betty, I hear ya, I hear ya, I hear ya, LOL. I thought it was just my puter bogged down I started clearing out all kinds of stuff making room for LBT. We've been spoiled with such a great running site that a glitch sure threw me for a loop, The new car is great, although, I wish I'd gotten the LX, like I had before, I didn't think there'd be that much difference in the size, but in my LX, I had to step up onto the running board and then get in. So now, I step on the running board and overstep my seat, anyway, I'll get use to it. I met up with my son today and cleaned all my stuff out, OMG, every side door compartment, the double glove compartment between the seats, and cup holders all had change in them. I guess I'll give the bag of change to my 12yr old gson to put towards his xbox360. He told everyone he'd "accept" money for Christmas, LOL, so he's got right much saved for the new, expensive game. Eileen, did you get all your decorations down? How many miles on the dreadmill. I was telling my mom about your dreadmill today and she said she noticed one of those great big yoga balls in my "exercise" room when she was showing my house the other day, she asked what I did with it, I told her I bought it to keep dreadmill company. I started a thread asking about everyone's digital camera, didn't get much of a response, but I'm gonna check on the cameras mentioned, so I'll catch you losers (new years resolution, right?) later.

Hello Banders I am a new member and I am excited!!!!!
Welcome and good luck on your journey. There was a thread posted a few days ago listing the various thoughts and hurdles to face in the upcoming months. See if you can find it, it lists different phases like, hunger, what have I done, etc.

I'm giving up daily protein shakes!
I NEVER did the Protein drinks, OMG, the thought of drinking one makes me wanna heave. (Although, a milkshake, as long as it doesn't taste like milk and is as thick as ice cream, is ok). Talk to Vines, she's having a problem too, bless her heart. Me, I've been at the same weight so long, I don't even think of looking at the scales more than every other week. I'm concentrating on getting into a size 12, the heck with the scales.

does my situation count as a complication?
Girl, you have been so patient, I so admire your patience. With all of your trials and tribulations, you're still a role model to me. I wish you lived closer so I could give you a great big bear hug!
-
Can You Identify My Symptoms?
Too tight, been there done that, and it's no fun AND it's not good for you or your band. Try a slight unfill.
-
Band Complications or just illness??
Bottom line is you know your body and your band. Not being able to keep liquids down is a serious problem. I second what Alex said, you need to try the unfill, ASAP, then go from there. Good Luck!

Tubing problems
I just read where Teresa is having tube problems, you may want to check out her post, good luck.

Digital Cameras Pros and Cons
Which one do you have? Would you recommend it? If so why? I have the Kodak EasyShare DX 6440, with the printing docking station, which also recharges the batteries. I love this concept, the printer and the fact I don't have to replace batteries, but I want a camera that I can do faster shots, without the lengthy recovery time between pictures. Like with the new gbaby, I'll have this awesome shot, then between the time I actually press the button and the camera captures the shot, the eyes are closed and the head is turned. I love taking pictures, and I have the old Canon Rebel, which is not digital, but has all the fancy lenses, but I hate film. Any suggestions from the camera buffs out there?
