  1. I divided all those costs into the pounds lost, oh it was not pretty...$$$$ per pound.
  2. I avoid the scales, it causes major depression! Slimming is when your food gets stuck between your throat and band. In order for it to either go down or come back up, your body produces digestive juices..saliva, lots of it too, so you can process your food. What doesn't go down, usually comes back, in my case...the slime!
  3. It's not recommended, due to the rice, lol, also I tried it and it didn't stay down very well, I was actually kind of glad.
  4. I remember how upset I was when I had to be re-scheduled, due to proctor not being available to assist. ERRR!

I'm from Zoe's planet, or either I'm showing my age, LOL. Is bunco anything like bingo?
  6. Good evening everyone, suppose most of you are in bed now getting ready for the new work week, especially Eileen. Eileen, you do remember I don't cook, I couldn't imagine preparing a week's worth of food. I do well to fix the coffee the night before, just cause I have to have my lava when my feet hit the floor. I can't believe you didn't get a fill, although, why waste one if you're on a losing streak. Cindy, I wish it was summer and warm enough for the beach, though, I'd rather be sitting at the end of the pier fishing, or crabbing with the grandkids. They get so excited when they feel them tugging on the string, they start yelling, "get the net, get the net". The 2yr old just wants to play climb in and out of the boat. Betty you're one dedicated Harley rider, I'll give you that! I'm a fair weather rider, LOL. DOC, what part of FL, my DH wants a place in Florida soooo bad. I have to hear about it every morning while we're having coffee and watching the cold weather report here. I wouldn't mind something near Orlando, it would have to be a great deal and near or on golf course. Condo's all we need, any suggestions? Ivan, you're looking great! Took my 12yr old gson to see Kong tonight, the special effects were great, but a tad bit far fetched, oh my butt, 3 hours! I had an NSV today, my DH had the Harleys out and I ran in and threw on my Harley vest and ran out with camera for him to take a picture and he'd already put them back in the garage. Anyway, my vest, that I only could snap the bottom snap, wellllll, it snaps all the way and it fits very nicely, not too tight, and to think I almost gave it away. Cindy speaking of cooking, I almost cooked the other night, I popped in one of those meatloaf frozen things and those mashed taters with garlic, some porknbeans and my dh thought he had a home cooked meal. I'll catch the rest of yall tomorrow.
  7. Oops, I was talking about the muscle mass test, I must have missed where you'd lost muscle. I'm at a loss now too. I've got to get my head outta my ash and get with it. I've been at the same weight for a couple of months and it's getting old. Hugs girl, hang in there.
  8. Gee Mandy, that's tough, especially since she's so young. I wish you the best. Next time my gson's running me all over the house, I'll be glad he's just being a stinker instead of angry. Thanks for the reality check.
  9. Vanity surgery to me is when I get up the nerve to go get a few things nipped and tucked, LOL. My lapband was a major, expensive, life changing experience that I do not regret at this point. I'm proud I had the money and the nerve to do it, just wish it had been available when I was younger.
  10. I've been having bouts with hunger lately, if I could just remember to grab protein instead of the first thing I get my hands on. Like Cindy said, lots of good advice, hang in there, you've been doing so well.
  11. I was his first patient for Adjustable Lapband. Great doctor and staff. What ya wanna know? PM if you're nervous. He also banded my mom in April.
  12. I was banded same as Jack, only in Virginia.
  13. I just asked someone about you the other day, I'm glad there was no erosion. Take care of yourself.
  14. I think the reason she doesn't look her best is because she's worried to death someones gonna get the real low down on her surgery. She can't enjoy life for worrying about it, LOL. I agree with the above comments, when you're in the public eye, especially, 5 days a week, there's going to be talk with a weight loss of that magnitude. Once she announces the real truth about her weight loss the better she will look and feel, all that pressure, LOL.
  15. OMG, four weeks of liquids, oh my. I barely made the two weeks liquids, cut it short by 1 day, LOL. It's not easy, but it can be done, well, I don't know about the four weeks, though.
  16. Hey lady, I love your new avatar. You look so pretty. I'll bet you're gaining muscle, ya do that test yet?

Welcome, I wish you the best on your band journey!
  18. Hey Bright, I remember you too. Sorry about the problems, eww did you have to mention the Latte? Yes some things do go down entirely too easy, then others can send you running to spit. Stay in touch, don't be a stranger.
  19. I love pictures, thanks for taking the time Vines. Vines, I don't know what your lb loss is, but you sure have lost in your face. Looking good ladies.
  20. I have a pain on my right side a few inches below my port from time to time, but I think it's gas. It always goes away. Hope it's nothing serious.
  21. I saw the show too, I think she was soooo close to admitting the surgery, but wouldn't say it. I just knew for sure this would be the show that she would tell all, but she didn't.
  22. We had one of those places here, but to be honest, I think it went out of business. I went for my "free" consultation, but I declined, tapes, I don't think so.
  23. Next thing you know, we'll have a band hacker, sitting up shop in his garage, LOL. OMG, that's scary!
  24. Congratulations, sounds like a dream come true. I'm very happy for you and DH.
  25. My guess would be exercise. Slow weight loss also helps with the sag of lack their of, LOL. Not to steal your thread, photonut, but what camera do you use?
