Yes he was on stilts and he was so cute. Hubby was dancing with the hott female, also on stilts, they were awesome on those things. I agree with walking in hills, LOL. Happy Birthday Chrispy!

Kat, sorry about the tooth, I'm so past due for the dentist, but I'm horrified, I'd rather go for more plastic surgery, LOL, I wouldn't be as scared. Anyone heard from Anne or Beanie lately? Check out Gina's picture on the VA site, WOW.

Newly Banded in Williamsburg
WOW, Gina, you look awesome. I know you're so proud of yourself! What a transformation 100 lbs makes :tongue2:. My hubby gave me a wonderful compliment the other night, the commercial for LB came on, the one with the tiger, and he told me that company should use me in their commercial, LOL.

Boo Boo Kitty's PS Journey
Boo, I just had my second one and NO regrets here. My only regret after my first reduction in 1982, yikes that was a long time ago, was that I didn't get it done sooner. Oh my, that's probably before most of my pals here were born, LOL.

For me, I'm glad I didn't do the implants, no regrets there. I'm still a DD, but still hoping they'll go down to a D or large C. Doesn't he have enough to work with that he wouldn't have to do the implants. Like my doctor explained, that's just something else to deal with. He said he'd be glad to do them if I wanted, but why bother, but then again.. I'm almost 58. I'm sure you'll be happy with the implants, just don't get them too big, so they look like implants . I go back for another follow up tomorrow. I have a few stitches that didn't dissolve and for some reason, my right breast is very tender, can't take any pressure. Neal, how's it going? I slept without my compression garments last night, I actually missed them and almost got up and put them on, LOL.

Karey, I know you've probably already posted before, but what size are you now, before implants? I have NO regrets of not getting the implants, like I've said before, I had so much to work with and do wish they were smaller, but since I didn't have my nipples removed again, (2nd reduction), my doctor was limited as to how small he could go without moving the nipples and taking a chance of me losing feeling or sensation. I hated the picture part...YUK!

I'm back home, and it's cold as chit! I'll lose my tan in a matter of days, unless I head out with Diane, aka, signgirl. Can't wait to sleep in my bed tonight. Ok, gotta tell you girls what a dumb a$$ thing I did, no laughing...well before we went to Fl, I got these great air fares. So yesterday, I go to check in, get boarding passes, etc for the return flight home, it was about 12:30,.....our flight home was the 19th...YESTERDAY, we had missed our frekn flight! My check out was the 20th, my car return was the 20th, ...WTF! How in the heck did I do that, am I losing it or WHAT! Well, needless to say, I had to book new 1 way tickets back to VA, must have been my lucky day, got two tickets for $99.00 each, I was happy to pay that price, needless to say, I had my boarding passes sent to the concierge and she printed them off, DH never knew . Mummmmms the word.

Boo Boo Kitty's PS Journey
WTG Kitty, I'm very happy for you. I wanted a large C or small D, I'm still a DD , though I'm hoping there is still swelling. I can tell a difference, that is one good thing. Good Luck!

Re-gain after Plastic Surgery
Tami, this is an interesting poll, I lost weight, but it's only been 5 weeks, so I probably should not have voted, LOL. I've been on vacation in Florida for a week and the liquid calories have probably not been good choices, but I'll find out Friday when I have my two week follow up. At this point I still don't have any regrets with my ps, I'll just be glad when all the swelling is gone, which I understand can be months. AND, I'll be glad to stop wearing these compession garments.

Next step in finding the real me
WTG Neal. I remember being almost able to stand straight, LOL. It does take a while. I developed the cough and rattle. I truly believe it was related to being put to sleep. Thank goodness mine was three weeks later, because it still hurt everytime I coughed. Don't over do it, even though it's 5 weeks today for me, if I lift too much, I can tell in a few hours. You look great!

question about band size!~please~
I thought it was according to how obese a person was, but my doctor explained it's all about your size on the inside. My mother and I both have the smaller 4cc band
-
Some questions
Guys/gals, I'm so sorry you're not giving your band enough time. I think it's fair to say most of us had the "oh my gosh, what have I done" feeling at some point, post op, but in most cases it passes! Please give it some time.

Hampton Roads/Peninsula thread
Carla, I think you'll enjoy the support meetings for a while, at least until you're more comfortable with your band. I stopped in last year, first time in two years. I may go this spring, I always forget when they're having them. Also, when I was first banded, they didn't have separate support meetings for the band and the full bypass, which they do now. I wouldn't compare with WW meetings either. Oh yeah, I was self pay too AND Dr. T's FIRST lapband surgery.
