  1. Kat, I'm so sorry your'e having such a rough time, forget my birthday, it's just another year, lol, NOT a big deal, trust me, at my age, NOT a big deal. Hope you're feeling better. Sherry, Tom who, LMAO, sooo glad I haven't dealt with that sucker for such a long time, don't miss him at all . Oh today was beautiful, still working on taxes, took a break around 2:00, hubby and I went out on the boat, went to the local Marina, had salad and shrimp basket, then finished it up a few minutes ago. It was 80 degrees today, supposed to be 52 tomorrow, yuk. Take care all, Jetti, when's that trip?
  2. Kat, where are you? I can always count on you being here everyday. Hope you're ok.
  3. Thanks friends for all the birthday wishes. Went to Outback for dinner, yummmm. I like Diane's idea of celebrating all week. Diane, don't shoot me, I forgot to call you on the way home. Call me tomorrow anytime. I don't think I'm working tomorrow, I worked a couple of hours today, ahhhh, semi retired, loving it. Went for gastro consultation today, colonoscopy scheduled Apr 30, wth, I got to wait ANOTHER month. Oh well, guess they're not too concerned, but ya still worry :tongue_smilie:.
  4. I didn't have hip lipo, but the flanks, (bra area), and I started sleeping on side within a week. My ps surgeon said sleep was more important than which way I slept. Karey, thanks for the support and suggestions.
  5. Karey & Christina, can't remember which one of you posted pictures of your "parts" removed, but I asked to see mine, OMG! The sections were much larger than I had expected, in fact my tummy was in two 1/2 sections, and the breast was more than I expected too. When i go back for my after pictures in May I'm going to ask for copies while I'm with the picture lady. I told my PS how disappointed I was with my breast and he said it was the best he could do because of the previous reduction and issue with the way the nipples were reattached. You'd think they were all put back the same way. OK, I was in a gabby mood this AM, sorry.
  6. I had two undissolvable stitches, one at each of the two drainage tubes. Neal, I see your delima, but I'm sure the Dr.'s office will gladly refund your money, rather than be reported for double dipping.
  7. Kat, us and our kids, they may turn into adults, but we will always worry about them and their happiness....hugs to you and DD.
  8. Bridgette, who is going to do your surgery? Dr. Terracina did mine over three years ago. Welcome and I wish you the best.
  9. Oh, I see you're on here, you peepin in on us,huh?
  10. Betty, it sounds like you deserve some serious R&R. Diane, SignG where are you, what ya up to?
  11. Well, I hadn't heard of the silicone sheets, so I guess I'll follow up with my PS tomorrow and find out what he suggests.
  12. DITTO EILEENIE! HAPPY EASTER
  13. Mommi-aka-Lynn, I have that same swelling, just below the scar, but now I've got swelling around where I use to have a waist, LOL. When I went to PS on Thursday, he said I had a type of dissolving stitches that takes up to six months to completely dissolve. After seeing Karey's BBs, I'm considering implants when I have to go back and get that "area" taken care of. He suggested I not be hasty, because I was still dealing with swelling and that I should be taking Tylenol for the swelling, anyone else been told that? I also forgot to ask him about a prescription for bleaching cream for my scar(s). Anyone used that? Happy Easter everyone!
  14. Karey, you look great, the top looks like the picture I sent you. I'm having issues with the swelling above my TT as well. I went to PS Thursday, he said he may have to lypo the area that he and I are not pleased with, just great, then he pinched the midriff and said maybe there too...not unless it's a throw in, LOL. Now I'm regretting I didn't get the implants, there's always next time, LOL.
  15. Karey, when I had my first "mini" tummy tuck, I remember seeing the pic of my tummy after it was cut out and it looked like a piece of cherry pie, LOL, talk about weird. I have the after pictures tomorrow, I hope to see my before pictures. I think I mentioned my doctor did show me pictures of before and after, comparing one breast to the other which hadn't been done yet. I do intend to tell him tomorrow that I'm disappointed in the breast, still too big .
  16. Kat, I forgot to mention, I agree Mexican is very easy to eat. I do well with chips too .

  18. Kat, I drink OJ all the time, but can't do a baked potato, which is not a bad thing, LOL. We had lunch at UNO's today, had to go spit after the first bite, errr, I was so hungry too! They have an awesome Soup bar for lunch now too, but it ended at three, we got there at 3:15 AND the bar was still out, but they wouldn't let me order it, I was pissed. I eat out at least 5 times a week, sometimes more than that, still don't know why we put in a kitchen. I always bring food home, so that takes care of dinner .
  19. I'm not a guy/man, but I'm very happy for you. I know I love my "tool" and love my new life with the band .
  20. Oh no, not again, no wonder my stockbroker just called the house and my cell phone, he must have some killer deals, imagine that! Those poor cows! You've got nerve girl! Gotta go check on my broker, LOL.
  21. Hey girlies, went to the beach house this weekend. It was great Friday and part of Saturday, then storms set in Saturday and high, cold winds on Sunday. Friday night is still a blurr, and I think it caught up with me this morning or either I've got what Eileenie's got/had. Eileenie, did you drink any orange juice and vodka, sorry, I couldn't resist. Oh, I was so bad, we got to the beach about 3:00, started with a couple of screwdrivers over lunch, which for me was not a lot of food. After a walk on the beach, we went back to the same place Friday night, Diane knows my favorite spot, (Awful Arthurs) we've eaten/drank lunch there before, hehe. Kat, the healing is pretty much done, except for the swelling in my lower tummy, still tender on the sides from the lipo and the girls are about a full cupsize too large :mad2:. Had so hoped to be a small D or large C. I'm down to a 38 around, but still DD's. Sherry, are you crazy? Now's the time to ask for a raise or a new position or both. Go for it girl, they can't afford to say no now, I know how I'd feel if my new girl told me she was going to quit. I don't remember if I told y'all, but I had to let one of my girls go for stealing, I had special tracking software put on my work computers and this girl was stealing me blind, she was sending out letters for her boyfriends business on my time, my computers, my printers and my postage. Then she went and applied for unemployment, WTH! NC Diane, sorry about the leg surgery, ouch! Sounds like the gathering will be a blast, but that's too far for me. Gotta run catch up with y'all later.
  22. Carla, wishing you the best tonight and tomorrow, because I know you're a nervous wreck tonight . Hugs! PS Call me if you need me.
  23. LJM, try wearing cotton undies under the garment, it reallllly helps.
