  1. Jetti, I didn't start using Protein powder until recently, well the last year, I use the Rice protein, vanilla, I just use larger scoops, because I don't think the grams of protein is as high as soy or whey. It doesn't have that Vitamin smell. I get it from the Vitamine Shoppe. Oh yeah, a 3 week vacation....I couldn't imagine. I had a hard time being gone 10 days, LOL. I wonder if you could ship an unopened container to your destination. Not sure of customs laws and rules.
  2. Showering with drains was my worst experience with my TT & BL/redu, my drains came out on my 1 week post op visit. It's been almost two months for me and I still have a little Fluid in the belly, I can tell at night when I'm on my side, then flip to the other. The girls are losing size not quite the overflowing DD now. Hope you get your drains out soon Karey, it will make such a difference with the way you feel and move around. LJM, thanks for sharing the pictures, you've been through a lot! Can you tell a big difference from day to day or week to week with the amount of swelling you're losing?
  3. Laughing at you both, I hate the drive to the Southside, LOL.
  4. Angie, I had to laugh, that's exactly why I wanted to be a "large" C, so I could buy the matching bras and panties. Oh well, unless there's a lot more swelling, looks like I'm stuck with D's.
  5. Eileenie, sorry you had a bumpy day yesterday, hugs! Betty and Sherry, time changes, pain in the a$$, LOL. How's the UT today Betty? Sherry, you keeping everyone straight? I'm so disappointed I waited too late to sign reply to Alex. The site has been pretty good of late don't ya think? Kat, how was dinner? Well, gotta go work on DS computer again, apparently, I didn't get it done last week. I know he's waiting on me to buy him a laptop. Did i mention he's back with bipolar woman....just a little over 5 weeks ago she had him locked up, WTH is wrong with him? Even if it's lined with gold, when is enough enough? He called the other day and said he needed to pick up the video of the birth of gson, to get a copy made for her, I told him she could kiss my a$$, after keepin my gson from his dad and gparents for over a month, using him as a pawn, hellll no! I think he was shocked, bcause I'm usually the peace maker...call me DONE! OK I'm done venting, see Eileenie, I just get mad, heaven forbid I should start crying, talk about a flood, I've got enough tears saved up to float a boat. I've turned into a real hard ass I guess. SS, too much info, later girlies....hugs!
  6. Had to laugh, when you're almost 58, it's hard not to look matronly, but I do agree.
  7. Tova, I stopped taking the Motrin, but I might have gone down a little, very little, LOL. Still wearing a 38 DD, but in second hook  and hot bubbling out of the top and sides. The sides are still very tender from the lipo. A friend of mine just got approved for a reduction, she's going from F to B, she's not a tiny person either, I think that's way too small, but in order for ins to pay, she had to have more taken off. Next she'll be going for implants, LOL. Thanks for asking.
  8. Kat, hope things are better today, each day seems to make a difference. Betty, I had my first UT about a year ago, being my age, I didn't know what it was. All I knew was something very strange was going on in my personal area, LOL. You did go to the doctor right? Especially with the bleeding. I took these pills that made everything bright orange, talk about a mess. I guess our sign girl is busy unpacking, get in here girl! (Maybe she's still in Feb).
  9. Diane, hope you don't mind I copied and pasted your last post. Hope you had mucho fun and a safe trip home, girl u so crazy.

  11. Kat, you're not being whiny, you've been through a major ordeal, my plastic surgery was not as painful as what you're experiencing! You can come here and whine anytime, that's what we're here for, well at least a few of us are still here, now look whose being a baby, LOL.
  12. Good Morning ladies! Kat, how's the mouth this AM? Betty, 80 to 27, wow that's a big diff. We never did make it to the beach house this week, we kept having "golf" interference, then Dh finally said, well this time of year there's nothing to do there. We took the boat out a couple of days it was beautiful those two days, but back to cold now, with wind. Ok, I'm just rambling to make it look like this thread isn't dead.....come on girlies, at least stop in to say hello! Have a great day!
  13. OMG DRAINS! I hated the drains! You look awesome, I take it you did the implants, LOL, they do look huge! Day at a time girlie!
  14. Kat I so hope you feel better, ((hugs))! I need to go to the dentis so bad, just the thought makes me ill. They even made me pay in advance for this deep cleaning, below the gum line, chit that was $160.00 wasted. You're a brave woman, more hugs!
  15. I had to do a "wash" of 1/2 Water 1/2 peroxide, then neosporin, just on the two stitches where the two tubes were. I didn't have to do anything to the dissolving stitches, but as soon as they started to heal I started using Mederma. Next time I see my ps I'm going to ask for a RX of some type of bleach. I had a great NSV yesterday, I tried on 12's and they were too big, I had to get 10's!!!!!!!!!
  16. OMG, I can't believe I just told my mom I got my coochie waxed today! WTH, I think she's still in shock, she may never be the same, LOL. Actually, it wasn't too bad, only I thought I was getting the bikini area done, OMG, this girl went where no other person has ever gone, LMAO. OK, gfriends, was that too much info? Hubby didn't even know, but he took me shopping this afternoon and I actually tried on a 12 and it was toooooooo big, I had to get a 10, whoot whoot whoot. Then he picked out a couple of things that are very great granny, but WTH, he was having fun, I'll just take it back when he's not looking. Hope things went well at the dentist. I love a good sale!
  17. Karey, I so know how you're feeling this AM. Thank goodness there were hefty charges if I had backed out, LOL. Now I'm so glad I didn't.
  18. Mandy, I was just teasing ya, I figured she was old enough, but seriously, she may be afraid it will hurt. Kat, I read an article one time about whether it was better to blow/spit that stuff out or swallow the snot and it said, don't quote me now, that it coated the stomach , no chit! When I have a cold or sinus issues, I keep an empty bottle Water by my bed to spit into, the thought of swallowing that flem grosses me out. My pet peeve is people that blow their nose at the table, especially in restaurants. We were in Olive Garden one day and this man kept blowing his nose into his napkin....CLOTH napkin. When he left I told the manager he needed to trash that cloth and why ....some people. My son gets furious, he'll start talking loud and saying things, like I wonder if he'd like me to come over there and fart while he's eating. Anyway...good luck at the dentist. I should have gotten an email from the Margarita lady by now :rolleyes2:, LOL, hope you're having a blast Diane!
  19. Today's your day! I hope you got some rest. You're gonna love your new tummy! Hugs
  20. Karey, except for the tummy, you have a very young looking body. After today, you will look young all over! Wishing you the best!
  21. Jetti, our weather was beautiful today, 74, and supposed to be warmer tomorrow, I'm sooooo ready for spring. We went out on our little yacht today, dropped anchor and lets just leave it at that . Kat good luck on the tooth tomorrow, I'd rather have a baby than go to the dentist! That was so sweet sending Abi a healing box. Mandy, ya gotta teach that girl to blow, remember she's been through a lot these last few months, she may require a little more patience. Going to the beach house tomorrow, we're taking DH's other toy, the Corvette, only if it's warm enough to put the top down. I hope the weather cooperates. Hugs all around.
  22. Target has some cute suits, but they're NOT made for busty women . With my new tummy, I could wear a lower style and show my new belly button....NOT ME! At my age I'm sure I'll stick to the one piece, LOL.
  23. Nina, the booty is awesome! I know you are in love with the new you, cause I love the new me. Mommi, it's still early, I'm almost two months out and I've still got lots of swelling in my tummy and on the sides. Fortunately, my incision is right at the hair line, actually a little low . I have a pudgy spot, (right in the front, middle, lower section), my doctor said he may have to lipo or redo..YIKES.
  24. I interviewed four doctors and settled with fourth. He didn't want to do the implants unless I insisted, which I really liked that idea. You'll know immediately which one is the right one .
  25. Keep moving, I truly think it makes for a speedy recovery, not to mention avoiding clots, even if you walk in circles. You're looking great!
