  1. I wouldn't think it would be an issue. The only concern that I would have is getting hit right where my port was, which would probably make in tender for a while. But other than that, have fun!
  2. Yeah, I've heard of this too. Ditto to above post, thanks kagoscuba. Also, I think if theres too much weight on the ball of your foot, your center of balance can be off while lifting weights as opposed to most of the weight being on your heel. The shox are great sneaks, especially for running, but I'd rather have something flatter like a cross trainer instead for weightlifting.
  3. Yeah daddy, you are slacking
  4. Nursey, I just noticed. You've lost over 150lbs.....I can't believe it. I never looked at your starting weight. That's sooo unbelievable!!!! That in and of itself is awesome. Congrats on the loss, even though I know you want a little more!
  5. I bought mine from amazon yesterday. I can't wait to get them!
  6. Nice, real nice.
  7. Now I'm thinking about broccoli
  8. I can't eat broccoli either

  10. I guess we're all getting a little ocd. Its Nov 2 and we're on page 3!
  11. Hope its not more donuts:hungry:
  12. Nope, I missed one on week 2 too. Whenever he says get ready, I just speed up. I assume its when the beat of the music starts getting faster. Don't worry daddy. You did extra credit this week so you're allowed some rest time.
  13. I'm feeling pretty good today, so I'll be back at it after work. That means that this week is only 2 runs, but I'll do 3 next week at the same week, because I'm really afraid of week 4!
  14. Stefanie, I love the friday dance!
  15. whos, I'm going to go tomorrow after work. I must need the rest because I can't stay awake. I think I'm going to hit the sheets early tonight and rest up.
  16. I was wondering the same thing. I haven't picked a fave yet!

I should get out there on my lunch break and walk around. It really does make a difference what type of job you have too, whether your running around all day, or just sitting. The farthest I walk all day is up a flight of stairs to go to the ladies room!
  18. Go slow, you'll have plenty of time later to work out. For now, go for a walk, short walk, long walk, just go slow. And now is so not the time to push yourself. I would give it a month, then after that play it by ear. I would definately not do any strenuous exercises for at least 6 weeks.
  19. I was going to go for run 2 of week 3 but my knees are still achy and my heel spur is really bothering me tonight. I'll do it tomorrow. So that means I'll have to do run 3 on sunday. Thats ok though, I may be repeating week 3. Its a toughy!
  20. I had to make my list in advance, because I didn't want to forget anyone, I'm sure I still did though!
  21. No you won't, and its ok. Thats probably the reason I keep coming back!
  22. Sounds stalker esque!
  23. Like all the food pictures, whats with all the food. I'm starving over here. Thats pretty much the last thing I want to look at. Food. Geez, aren't we all here to lose weight. And we have to keep looking at donuts. Your lucky I PB on every donut ever made, because otherwise I'd have to make a daily donut run!
  24. Yeah, wwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyyy off topic!
  25. Welcome Kaydotrn, you can play anytime! Nursey, 33 degrees?!? I thought 55 was bad! Yikes!
