Females Who Are Actively Losing - What Is Your Calorie & Protein Intake?
I'm bad also because I don't track calories eventhough I know that I need to. Maybe when I reach goal weight I will start tracking to determine my optimum level to maintain. Until then I will eat until I am uncomfortable which is a few bites and exercise hard for 60-90 minutes per day and drink what I want.

Having Second Thoughts :(
It is a fight to break up with our beloved "food" especially the unhealthy type isn't it. It takes a while to get used to this lifestyle and your new tool. I try not to think about my old love too often and found ways to replace the unhealthy with the healthy foods. Hang in there it gets better.

Please Help With Puree Stage
My blender became my best friend during this stage. I blended bananas, strawberries, melons and made yummy sorbet and pudding. I also blended my protien shake with fruit and 1% lactose free milk which made it yummy and tolerable.

Really Hating My Family Right Now :-(
It's all mind over matter and your choice to live healthy. So suck on your ice chips and pretend it's pizza. My hubby loves pizza but I don't eat it so when he buys it I go in the other room or I may smell it and pretend to eat it. Hang in there it will get easier just remember that slim figure and donating those clothes you currently wear.

After 6+ Months Out, Is Losing Weight, And Maintaining Weight, Harder Or Easier?
I'm 4 months out and I can feel it slowing down. I also notice that when I crank up my intensity and work out hard for the week, I lose more weight. I don't count calories or carbs but I will start soon because I need to know the amount of calories by body needs maintain my goal weight. I like the restriction part of the sleeve because no matter how good the food looks I can only have a small amount which helps me to easily lose weight. When before, I would work out twice a day for at least 2 hours and the scale wouldn't move.

What Is It Really Like When You Wake Up After Surgery?
Like I was hit by a mack truck. Not to scare you but nothing could have prepared me for surgery because it was the first time I was under anastesia or remaining overnight in the hospital. I was so afraid and thougt I couldn't survive but i did. Good Luck to you.

Anyone Lose 100+ & Not Need Plastics
I'm at 61 gone right now and I don't see any loose skin what so ever. I am keeping my fingers crossed, like someone said it dependds on your genes and how long you have been carrying the excess weight. I work out at least 60-90 min per day and lift heavy weights as well as cycling so we'll see how it goes.

The More I Lose, The More I Fear...
You ladies, make me thankful that I have no loose skin, down to 187 from 250 and I see no sign of the loosey goosey. I do however, workout at least 60-90 min 6 days a week, lift weights and do lots of lower body exercises as well as cycling classes 3 days per week. So I am thankful, good luck to you guys.

Once You Lose Your Butt Is It Gone Forever!?
Well it depends on one's age, how long they've been fat, how much fat they need to lose and your body muscle to fat ratio. There is hope however, with exercises to build up your buns. As all the fat goes away the only thing left is mucscle and skin so if the skin shrinks well to the muscle then there shouldn't be an issue. You'll still have a butt , it just won't be fat and flabby instead it will be firm and toned once you do the hard work and exercises to tone it up.

What Do You Recommend?
I say hell yeah go for it, life is too short to spend it unhealthy. If I was to die tomorrow I would be a much happier and a more content and confident person. The sleeve is a tool and it helped me reach my health and fitness goals. I am much happier today than I was yesterday or last month.

The Downside Of Weight Loss..
I get angry because people treat you different when you are a certain size. When I was 250 lbs I would wait all day to cross the street now at a smoking 185, size 8 with curves and looking HOT!!! the cars stop and let me cross. I am a frequent gym goer and guys now open doors and flirt. I find it insulting and find myself angry at the discrimination but what can I do. I take it in stride and enjoy the new me.

I Don't Think My Dr Was As Happy As I Was
My military doctor sounds like him and I appreciate his frankness and no nonsense leadership style. I am motivated because of him, he did his job with the surgery now it's time for me to do my part which is to work hard and keep it off.
