I'm not looking forward to the pre-op diet either. Sorry it's a struggle but it will be worth it. Just reminder yourself that you want a successful complication-free surgery. Hope the pre-op diet time flies by! Good luck!

APPROVED!!! In less than 48 hours!!!! I'm so elated and excited. The 6 month wait was a killer!

Yay for you! Waiting 6 months was so hard for me too.

My doctor's office submitted all my paperwork to BCBC Alabama today around 10:30am! I called my insurance around 4:45 today to see if they received the fax. The said they received a call but not a fax from the surgeon's office today. The said they told the doc a per-certification isn't required but they will need to send in the clinic data for medical review. The insurance said they hadn't received the clinical data fax when I called. I'm going to call them again the the morning to see if it worked it's way into the computer system. I'm not sure what all the insurance jargon means but I would have thought the fax would have registered in there system. I plan on bugging the heck out of the insurance. Fingers crossed....

Good luck with the surgery. The pre op diet is going to very hard for me so I hope it is easy for you. Some great advice on the thread.
