This Is Simple.... I Ran!

For the first time in 15 yrs. I ran last night. I always used the excuse that I had bad knees. The truth being is that I was carrying sooo much extra weight around that my knees just hurt from the pressure on them. Last night I felt like I could have ran forever and it not hurt (my knees of course, lungs being a totally different thing).lol My lungs are not use to the large amount of air following through them yet but that is changing day by day.

Funny thing is my friend Laura asked me to join a 5K with her just yesterday and I told her, "No way! I would kill over!". She being the positive and wonderful person she is, said that if she could do it, I could. So now I'm thinking about joining. :)

I love this wonder decision I have made!

Oh, I have one other NSV.... I gave away the first pair of jeans that I actually went and bought after surgery. They were a size 13 that I wore for maybe a month. I gave them to my very good friend with pride!
