Today Was My Day....march 2, 2012

Today was the day i had my VSG surgery. My doc is Dr. Umbach at Blossom Bariatric in Henderson, UT (Vegas). He did a great job. His team and their process was very professional. My wife has been an RN for 21 years and she was very complementary of our experience.

Twelve hours post-op I feel pretty good. Breathing & Walking. Taking some med's & slowly drinking some Water.

So far, very happy with my decision to take this step & choose Dr. Umbach in Las Vegas.

First day of the rest of my life.

What a great day to be sleeved. :) It's my mom's birthday! I'm glad you are already feeling better, and I can't wait to hear more about your story and future successes.

So glad to hear of your experience. He is also my doctor, and my surgery is March 23rd. My husband and I both have been impressed with him and his staff. It will be nice to follow your progress.

Wow! It took courage and you deserve all the benefits you will get out it! Good for you!

Day 3 and I feel great. Water, tea, & protein drink. My wife has been with me this weekend and she has done a great job helping me stay on track with my walking & meds. It does help that my wife is an RN. Dr. Umbach really did a great job preparing me for the weekend and dealing with the pain. No more gas pain & very little surgery pain. I walked a couple miles today. Feel great. Going home tomorrow. So far...so good.
