  2. I am about a week shy of my one year surgery date. At about 7 months out I developed an intolerance to lactose. My surgeon said it is common for some people to develop it. I can't even drink the lactose brand milk for some reason, so i Silk aka soy milk which is pretty good Anyone else have this happen to them??
  3. I had my surgery last year in march and I go to the gym 6 days a week. I workout out different parts of my body on different days. My arms and legs have toned up really good but i am having trouble with my ab area still. I dont know if its just how my body wants to respond or not but for the most part you should be able to tone up pretty well with the right exercises and foods. As far as the loose skin goes we kind of have to deal with it but for some you won't have any at all. Good luck on your surgery, it will be the best thing you can do for yourself, I love it!

  13. I was the same way when i was sleeved back in march. I was always worried about a leak but now im 8 months post op and i am perfectly fine. The number 1 thing is to follow your surgeons instructions exactly how it is written down or by what they have told you and you should be ok. Dont stress off of it to much, just relax and take it easy. Let your body rest and heal on its own.

  20. My surgery date is also Tuesday the 6th but my surgeon said i can substitute one of my protein shakes a day with two protein bars. I take 3 shakes a day and im doing the slim fast high protein liquid diet. I am also worried that my liver will not be small enough but i worry about everything so im sure everything will be fine for us lol.
