  2. I feel ya, girl. I have 2 days left to eat
  3. Did you call your doctor? Perhaps he can increase your pain med dose. It's very important to move and walk after any surgery. I'm sorry you're in so much pain! Lisa
  4. Outstanding!!! I'm so happy for you!!! Lisa
  5. Glad you're feeling well! I hope you have a quick recovery. Lisa
  6. How awesome that you're already off your meds! How cool is that! You go girl!! Lisa
  7. Did anyone try Dr Dean Ornish's diet? His book was the spectrum, and I lost about 30 on it. Very low fat, no red meat... might have even been no meat only fish. I couldn't live on it. Lisa
  8. I'm glad you're doing well. Where was your surgery? Lisa
  9. Going through that too! Darn I'm going to miss my friend, "food". But I look forward to being BEST friends with "skinny jeans"! I will have to have pizza and beer next week before I start the preop diet. One last time...
  10. I am Sept 15th in Mexico. As far as weather, I would think it would still be warm, sorta like Florida? However, I could be wrong 21 days to go! I wish it was today, LOL! Lisa
  11. I'm praying today that both of you have flawless surgeries and speedy recoveries! Lisa
  12. Oh, Tony, I feel for you! I'm going to be starting mine soon and I really dread it! Stay strong!! Lisa

  14. Thanks for giving the heads up on the stall. Good to know what to expect... thanks! Lisa
  15. Oh good. Hubby has that. Mine showed as "processing" today, so I feel like mine will be here in time. Thanks Sue!
  16. Cheating? No, I don't see it as some miracle cure, while I sit on my behind, eating ice cream. We still have to do our part to make the most of this opportunity. I know a girl who's cousin had a lap band a month or so ago. She was qualified by medicaid after being turned once. This girl is a true food addict, and has GAINED WEIGHT since being banded. So no, it's not cheating, just a useful tool in which we can gain control of our lives. Lisa
  17. I'm so happy for you! You're doing wonderfully!! Lisa
  18. You know, I simply don't understand why insurance companies don't get that if we loose weight and get healthy, they will be paying out a whole lot less in the long run than if we end up with chronic illnesses caused by obesity. My insurance doesn't cover it at all, so I had no choice but to self pay. So to Mexico I go I will loose this weight and I will have a life!! Lisa
  19. That's wonderful! Keep up the good work, girl!! Lisa
  20. What a walk down memory lane! I did most of these, too. I was just saying I need to cancel my weight watchers. No sense in paying that $40 every month. Lisa
  21. Wow, y'all are doing FANTASTIC!! Such an inspiration to those yet to be sleeved
  22. Nice to meet you! I'm a Sept sleever myself! Lisa
  23. So glad to hear y'all are doing so well! I hope you con't to heal and have a good trip home. Can't wait to see what big losers y'all are gonna be! Lisa
  24. Pork rinds! I would have never thought! Thanks for posting this!! Lisa
