  2. *waves hello* So I'm almost 3 months out and I feel like I can eat a tad bit more. Is that normal?

  3. I had cookies last night and I feel extra guilty. I will say they didn't bring me much satisfaction.

    Bikram Yoga after surgery

@Getinmybelly The meds/supplements haven't made any difference in my practice, well not that I know of. My first class back was pretty rough, I was nauseous, dizzy and tired, but that's b/c I didn't prepare well. I know now that I need to eat something before class, drink twice as much water, and sit out when I need to. With Bikram the more you go the better you feel. My first class (a year ago today) was pretty rough, but I came right back. Bikram has put me in touch with my body, increased my flexibility, and helped me release stress. I can't believe it's become a normal part of my exercise routine and how quickly I was hooked on it after my first class. I'd say give it another shot, drink plenty of water, and get in your protein prior to class.

    Bikram Yoga after surgery

Hi all FYI. I'm back to doing Bikram after surgery. My first class back was pretty rough, but I'm sure it was b/c I went on an empty stomach. Now I make sure to have a piece of cheese, fruit, or almonds before class. It's just enough to get me through the class. I was concerned about being able to drink Water during class, but so far so good. Any other yogis out there?
  11. Looking for something crunch w/o the calories? Try Kale chips. Yum!

  12. Hi there. I was sleeved August 31st and so far I've lost 29lbs. Right now I'm experiencing my first stall, but the great thing is thanks to this forum I'm prepared. I started excersing again on Sunday and my body feels pretty good. My goal is to workout 5 days a week, cardio, weights, and Bikram Yoga. As far as food goes, I'm probably not doing the best. I'm finding it hard to get in the required protein while on the mushy diet. My menu currently consists of greek yogurt, cheese, soup, mashed potatoes, broccoli, peaches, oatmeal, grits, beans and boost protein shakes. I've been a tad frustrated with the mushies because they seem to go right through and the hungry comes raging back. I go back to the doc on Monday and I should be able to advance my diet, and I'm hoping I'll do a better job at meeting my protein goal.
  13. Anybody tired of mushies? *raises my hand* Anybody still hungry on mushies? *raises my hand*
