Buyers remorse ... not losing weight and kind of sad ...
I am 4 1/2 months out and was exactly where you are now. A lot of us go through the stall. You will start losing again, I promise. Your body just has to get acclimated to what you did to it. You will be fine, just keep looking in here and you will find so many in the same situation currently or that have been there. Good luck!

I'm a 10
I will post pics as soon as I can I am amazed at how well they fit too. no muffin top or pinching just button and zip it up LOL . Thanks guys. I have to say I didn't lose anything this week but I don't think these would have fit me like this last week. This whole process is weird, rewarding, frustrating, exhiliarating, etc. etc. But thank goodness for all you guys here because it helps to keep my attitude positive to know that there are others that are going through the same thing as me. Lord knows as much as hubby has supported me through this entire process and obsessing, I know I wear him down sometimes and have to button my lip LOL

I'm a 10
My hubby always thought I was a "10" regardless of what size pants I wore but today I couldn't put it off for much longer and went to Marshalls for some pants, ended up buying 2 pairs of capri length pants that I can wear with flats for the rest of the Summer and boots in the Winter and 1 pair of dress pants all for 36.00. Not too bad. But every pair of pants I tried on today was a 10, and they all fit perfectly!!! So needless to say I am stoked!! Can we say size 8 here we come?? I think I can lol From a size 18 to 10 in 4 1/2 months not too bad.

Thats the one thing during my weight loss that has stayed consistant. I was B and am still a B. I'm 44 so I'm thankful they are staying in the right spot. Good girls that they are LOL.

weight loss stall
Don't be, do a search on stalls and you will see that you are not alone. A stall tends to last between 2-6 weeks depending. Mine lasted 4 weeks at 4 weeks. It's just your body acclimating itself to what you have done to it. Don't fret, the scale will move again. Start taking your measurments and see where you are going down there. You will be amazed. Its hard but try not to get on the scale as much during this period, its depressing and frustrating. BELEIVE ME! Not that I didn't do that to myself to be honest.

How much does excess skin weigh?
So that would make it about 6-8 lbs excess. Keeps things in perspective I think.

How much does excess skin weigh?
Is there a basic calculation for this? Does anyone know an average or something for sure?

Any wine drinkers out there?
I tried Riesling for the first time about a month ago and really liked it. But I'm more of a ... make that used to be more of a beer gal so I don't know that much about wines in general.

I GOT TWO TODAY!
You gotta love a good NSV. You come to rely on them to a certain degree to help you get through this process. They don't validate what you are doing but they sure do make you feel good. Today, I had two, not one but two LOL. 1) I saw the light ... You know that ever evasive triangle of light at the top of your thighs. Well today, I saw it for the first time hehehe! I was just freaking giddy. and 2) I was talking to a co-worker, who knows about the surgery and here is how the coversation whent Co-worker: "OMG (she's young so she actually said the letters OMG lol ), what are you now a 4???" Me: "Uh, nope not yet but these pants I have been waiting to fit into for a while now, but they are a 9/10." Co-worker: "No way! Look at your legs, they are smaller than mine now and I am in a 4. Those pants have got to be sized wrong." Me: "Either way, THANKS! I appreciate that." Just made me smile.

loosing slowly
I am 4 1/2 months out and a slow loser as well. If its coming off then thats a good thing! I have come to the realization that not everyone is going to lose at the same rate or with the same methods. What I have found that works for me to be consistant and lose at least a pound to two pounds a week (I am at the last stretch so that for me is phenominal lol) is I trick my body. On the weekends I allow myself to have a little more carbs and not to watch every little thing I put in my mouth. During the week I am strict and have a shake or bar for breakfast, a salad with protein for lunch, what ever protein and veg my hubby makes for dinner and then in the evening an Atkins snack of some sort. This seems to be working for me. I read somewhere that the body gets "used" to using up x amount of energy with what you have stored. So on the weekends it thinks that this would be the norm, and then during the week because I am limiting it again it keeps using that same energy on less calories. By the time it "knows" whats going on its the weekend again and am having more calories etc. Like I said this works for me and even though I endulge on the weekends, its still not so much that it would hinder me. Hope this helps.

5 Day Pouch Test - have you tried it?
Never be ashamed of self reflection and realization. You are human and as such make mistakes. Better yet, it is not a mistake, you did this and now you know! I believe that things happen for reasons ... most of the time. In the past when EVER I dieted and lost tons of weight, the minute I started getting compliments, I would sabatage my efforts and gain everything back again. I did it this time too. I tried to quit smoking, knowing that I would snack myself crazy and I did and in the that process gained back 8 lbs before I took a step back and realized what I was doing yet again. Thank goodness for my sleeve because that 8lbs could have easily been 18 or 28 in a blink of an eye. Get back on track and try to stay focused. You can do this! Oh and btw, on youtube SDMOM did the pouch test and lost something like 9lbs.

What do I tell people?
I have told my immediate group of co-workers about the surgery, and others that notice my weight loss, I tell them that I am on a high protein/low carb diet and exercising. Is it a lie by omition? Really don't care lol. Do they tell me the details of their lifes journeys? Well, yes some do and others I've no idea what goes on. Those that know me know, and those that don't and are curious, will ask how I lost the weight and that is the answer that I give. If they ask me if I had WLS, then chances are they are looking into themselves and I would tell them. But seriously, how many people would come up to you and straight out ask if you had WLS? LOL not one person in 4 1/2 months so far. As far as the going back and forth and up and down on the subject, I think if everyone just "words" their replies a little less agressive keeping with the same honesty that they intend it won't be taken too harshly. Everyone has opinions but sometimes when they are in written form, it tends to sound more like accusations etc. Alot of times the best way to reply to something like this is to state how you are dealing with it. Just my opinion, all.
