  8. Good Morning Y'all! It finally cooled down some here with a little rain!:clap2: :clap2: I think it's going to be a long week for me, I got up today thinking it was Wednesday! Diane - I sure wouldn't get a fill before I was going if it were me. I could go in your place if you don't want to worry about it! :D  Hope your puppy is better, did you find out what was wrong? Sherry - Wow, those Ridley's are cool, I really like the x88's. Glad you are feeling better now. I have one of those things on my bike already, it does help a lot. Eileen - Have your rested up from the party yet? Oh, I forgot you are on vacation this week aren't you? Darcy - I just love those big campfires when it is cool out. It makes me so relaxed! We used to have some really big ones! Kat - You are doing a great job with your band. I sure wish I could do some nice walks again, it's funny when I had to do them I had to make myself, now I wish I could. Well, I have to run, want to check a few more threads and I am running late already!
  9. Welcome to LBT, and "Happy Birthday" Your day will be here before you know it. In the meantime, start reading all the stuff here on LBT, there is a lot of valuable information just for taking the time to read it all. Good Luck and keep us posted!
  10. Hello from one more Texan! I have to agree, you sound like you are a tad bit too tight. You might go with a small unfill, but discuss it with your doctor and see what he tells you. Good luck, and keep up posted!
  11. Welcome to bandland! Everyone is different, and some do have swelling/gas longer. I think walking helped me more than anything else did. Good luck!
  12. Welcome to LBT! Just start reading all the threads on here, and you learn a lot! You'll get all kinds of information and we don't charge you a thing! :D
  13. Welcome to LBT! Good luck with your journey. There is a lot of valuable information on here just for taking the time to read it.
  14. Congrats! Keep on smiling, you deserve it!
  15. Drinking, carbs, and ice cream! You know, all the good stuff! :phone:
  16. I have never pb's in public, in fact my first pb was when I was 8 months along and I just forgot to chew well and swollowed too fast. Just make sure you chew things well and take it slow, you'll be fine. Good Luck!
  17. Good Morning Y'all, It's only going to be in the 90's today!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: We did get a little rain too, so that helped. We need it so bad! I was sick most of the day yesterday, but so far this morning I feel much better. I don't know what the problem was, but I woke up with a fever and hurt all over most of the day. No fever this morning though! Sherry - If you can't eat solids honey you are too tight. You need to take just a small amount out. You don't want to hurt your band, and in the long run when you are too tight, you don't lose weight the way you should. Hope you are feeling better today. Eileen - Hope the party went well, I know you must have been bushed. Glad your DN is home. Patty - Where there's a will, there's a way, don't give up. Just keep trying! I'll keep my fingers and everything else crossed for you. Kat - I haven't been able to ride for a long time because of my foot. They don't want me to be walking or standing on it more that absolutely necessary, and I don't think trying to hold my bike up would be too good for it. However, I can't wait too much longer. Cindy - Sounds like fun to me, you are right, we live too close not to get together. I'll count on it. Darcy - What's up with you today? Was it hot there this weekend or did y'all just take a break from the cabin? Well, as usual, running out of time so I need to get dressed for work. Catch you all later!
  18. We got a little, better than nothing!
  19. Welcome to LBT and to bandland!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  20. Mmmmmmm it all sounds good, sometimes I do the pepper things like Shelly, but add some asparagus to it, it's yummy!
  21. I eat popcorn, it has lots of fiber in it!
  22. You just had major surgery, you have stiches that need to heal and a band that needs to seed in place. Take the time to heal properly, it can make a difference between keeping and losing your band later down the road. Welcome to bandland!:clap2: :clap2:
  23. Whoooo Hooooo! I finally got to get back on here! I didn't get to read much on Friday, then couldn't get on after that! Like Cindy, I cried and laughed reading it all, now I can't remember who did/said what! Eileen - Wow, what a picture! I'm glad he will be fine. I had a nephew that was riding with someone else and a big steel rod came through the back window and cut his brain stem. He went through a lot, and was sent to a nursing home to die. When the nurses there started working with him, he totally came out of it. He has a limp and has a hard time with his memory, but alive and doing well. Miracles do happen! Pat - What a horrible story, my prayers are with them. When it rains, it pours! Kat - It's time for good things to happen for you, enough of the bad stuff. You and your family are in my prayers. Cindy - When it gets cooler, we can ride our bikes back down there again, if my foot is better. We both really like Babe's, and it will be really special if you are there too!:clap2: Darcy - Hope things are healing up for you now! I need one of those really bad, doctor has been telling me for a long time to go, I just can't make myself do it! Diane - We all know you were just kidding! I don't think we have to be so careful of what we say here, we just grin and bear it! Well, I have to get off here for a few minutes, I have been feeling under the weather all day. Now I have to try and get just a few things done. Thanks ladies for all the nice compliments too! Later!
  24. Most doctors will delay it until you get over it. Get some meds for it and you'll probably be ready by weeks end! Good Luck!
  25. Welcome to bandland! It gets better each day! My port area was the sorest spot for me too, it takes a while for it to get better.
