Good Morning Y'all! Wow, it sure is good to see some of your smiling faces that haven't been here for a while. Puts a big smile on my face! I have most of my laundry done, DH had to turn off the water because we have a sprinkler leak he is working on. UGH! I still have to mop the kitchen, fix stuff for lunches and work on dinner. We want to get the car washed, and I need to get in the pool all before it storms. I am keeping my fingers crossed, so far this weekend, no company! Now if I can just make it through the day! Eileen - Glad to see you! It sounds like your new job is going really good! I have been doing the workouts in the pool, I seem to stick with them better than anything else. It's supposed to have storms today and tomorrow here, right now it is sunny and hot though. Cindy - No it wasn't me on the bikes, I still can't put a shoe on my heal so no riding for me. It is much better, but so tender that no shoe will keep it from hurting. I am ready to wear shoes again though! Your tea sound wonderful! Mandy - Thanks for the link for the tea. You sound pretty busy girl! Kat - Whooooo Hoooooo! I am so proud of you! I am so close, but I have just gotten too much in the comfort zone and haven't given my best effort. I did much better when I could walk, so that hasn't helped either. I'm glad you bought yourself something, even if it is useful. Now, take a nice bubble bath soak and make DH take you to dinner. Chrispy - Good luck with the new beau! Sherry - Your group sounds neat! You gotta say one thing, they must love you at work being able to handle everything the way you do. Patty - Gosh, I hope your DS feels better before the trip. Have fun and enjoy yourself! Well, everyone have a great Sunday! Enjoy some of it y'all! I'm gonna try!

Getting Enough Water
Just remember some of the foods you eat contain water too. If you drink other drinks that have water it counts too. I just drink water all the time and I don't worry about the total amount. As long as I am sipping/drinking I am doing alright.

Bandster Heaven?
Just remember that you are reading on a support board so you will see more problems than usual. You aren't hearing from all the people that are out there enjoying life without any problems. It's good to know all the possibilities of things that "could" happen though, and what to do in case they happen to you. I think we all worry so much the first year of banding, then we settle back a little and start enjoying our bands without so much worry. I don't think you can get enough information while researching, just remember that everyone doesn't have problems. Good Luck!

Good Morning Y'all! Just checking in and saying "Hello". Where is everyone? I guess summer makes us all vanish a little bit. I'm sore this morning, I think I over did the exercising in the pool just a little bit. Every time I get used to doing the exercises, something happens and I don't get to do them for a few days and then when I get back on track I get sore again. I guess I just have to keep telling myself it's a good sore! Well going to go get my shower and get ready for work. Have a great day!

Can you say freakin' awesome???

Advise Needed Please.........
First of all, what types of food are causing the problems? Eggs, bread, rice just to name a few cause many bansters problems. If you are pbing on meat (if it's not too dry) then you are probably too tight. I would call my doctor if that is the problem. You should be able to eat protein.

Kat - Glad you had a good time regardless of the weather and all. I think that sucks that they had the drawing before people had a chance to get there. Get some rest and good food in you and you'll feel much better.

Banded 7/17 - help, need advice
Did your doctor tell you it was alright for you to eat these foods? I think you should be on the liquids only stage at this point. Fruit, cottage cheese, potato was things I wan't allowed to have in the first 2 weeks.

WLS success stories in advertising
If it's too good to be true, then it usually is. If you notice on most of the commericals it always tells you "Results not typical" and that in itself should tell people not to believe it.

I am going crazy in the liquid stage!
Try broth, juice (apple or grape) popcicles, jello. I used to mix it up all day long and it kept me full along with the protein drink.
