Absolutely not! It's not easy going though surgery, giving up a lot of the things you loved to eat/drink and exercising all the time. I love my band, it is the best thing I ever did for myself, but it is not the easy way out.
  7. Good Luck Vera, hope everything goes well for you!

  9. Great job Jenna, and it only gets better!
  10. Good luck to you, and please let us know how you are doing when you can!
  11. It's funny, when you start drinking water you actually start craving it. I drink water all the time and I never used to drink it either! I don't even miss the diet coke anymore, and I enjoy tea and crystal light now along with the water.
  12. This is natural, you are only normal to have all kinds of feelings. You will be successful if you follow the banster rules! You will be nervous, excited, and scared, and all those are absolutely normal!
  13. As long as you are spending the night you should know if you are having any problems. Just make sure you can get your liquids down before you leave. I know what you mean, there's no place like home!
  14. Iluvharleys replied to LisaMG's topic in The Lounge
    Crystal that is fantastic!
  15. What a great son! That my dear is a priceless NSV!
  16. My DH tells me I am a cheap date now that I can't drink as much!
  17. I can hear the excitement in your post! You might want to consider staying over the one night, just in case something needs attention. It would probably be more comfortable traveling the next day too! It's always better to be safe than sorry. Hey, I bet you have your bags packed already don't you? Just kidding ya! Post on Missy!
  18. Lisa Green - I love your pictures! You are looking good! You have done an awsome job!
  19. The band will always work for you as long as you follow the rules and get your fills. You will always have to work with the band just as you would at first, but it will always be there.
  20. Yeah, I make all kinds of sounds, DH and I have lots of good laughs about them!
  21. Iluvharleys replied to a post in a topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
If you are going to go through a major surgery, why wouldn't you want to follow the banster rules and eat properly? The band is a tool, and we must work with it, it is not going to do all the work by itself.
  22. It will be here before you know it! The best way to calm those nerves is to post and post and post!
  23. I don't even notice mine anymore unless I am feeling for it.
