  1. Babs you are probably gaining muscle. Also, Chinese sometimes causes Water weight gain. I wouldn't worry about it so much right now, wait for a few days and try again. Maybe your body is telling you that this is the perfect weight for you also.
  2. Welcome to bandland! I'm glad you found us too! Good luck with your first fill.
  3. I really don't think they will notice that! Heck it will probably be the first thing they take off you! My Mom use to always tell us "Make sure you have clean underware on, you never know when something might happen". :laugh :laugh :laugh
  4. Are you still having that pain? If so, you might not want to wait, a trip to the ER might be in order. I don't want to scare you, but I was working with a lady that did the same thing, I talked her into going to the doctor and she was having a heart attack. If you are still hurting like that, please just get checked out quickly! Let us know how you come out!
  5. Welcome David! Nice to meet ya! Wow, what a great weight loss in such a short time!
  6. That's great news! I am so happy to hear you are doing better!
  7. Welcome to bandland Trish, and keep sipping that water!
  8. I'll keep my fingers crosssed for you! You have done an amazing job with your band! Thanks for the update and please keep us posted! Good Luck!
  9. Yup, mine fell out like that too, but it only got thinner and nobody really noticed it except me! It is already starting to grow back in now. I cut about 5 inches off it to make it look a little thicker, and it did help. Mine started falling out when I was at 4 months post-op.
  10. This was on a post on smartbansters and was said by Jessie: The reason your hair is falling out is because you are losing weight. It's very common with any form of weight loss. It is not a shortage of Protein, Biotin, estrogen or anything else. It's just a side effect of weight loss. It will last a month or two and all your hair will grow back. Nobody has ended up bald yet --except for the guys who started out bald. Take a multi-vitamin every day, eat your protein first, use gentle hair care products and be patient. Sometimes people have hair loss from any anesthesia, any trama, child birth, and occasionally people even have another disease or scalp condition. If your hair loss is severe and doesn't resolve in 6-8 weeks consult with a doctor or dermatologist. Usually by the time you notice it the hair is growing back. If you look right at the hair line you can see a little fuzz coming in. Hair loss related to losing weight is temporary, self-limiting and completely reversible. It really will be OK but it's perfectly normal to freak out about it. My doctor said the same thing, and he said it is hormones that causes it.
  11. Good Luck Brenda~ Please let us know how you are when you can!

Yes, I had one, they put it in while I was asleep, and didn't remove it till the next morning, it was my best friend. It didn't hurt at all, not even when they removed it!
  13. Welcome to bandland! My doctor's office has started to use that band now and they really like it! Good luck!
  14. Good, let us know how you do! Good Luck!
  15. I would call your doctor and tell them what is going on and see if you can get in earlier. Hopefully they can work you in today or tomorrow.

Welcome to bandland! It gets better every day! Hang in there!
  17. Way to go Michelle! I can't hardly wait to hear you have reached your goal! You have done an awsome job with your band! I am also happy this morning, the scale finally moved for me and I am down 3 pounds today!
  18. Welcome to bandland! I know the feeling, I was 8 pounds heavier when I came home. The nurse actually said to me "You come here to lose weight and we pump you full and you gain it", I thought she was kidding me until I got on the scale when I got home! It comes back off really fast though!
  19. Welcome to bandland! It's great that you did so well!
  20. Hot fresh baked bread, I can eat anything right now, but I don't try bread.
