That is great , kids like apples and oranges so maybe that's some fruit dice it up and put it in the salad and have them try your lighter version , they may like it , als it is nice that the kids are involved to be healthier, I bet the parents are loving it also and the kids t to make choices , healthy ones , that they will eat , maybe Michelle Obama , will see this and know you are doing good.

The saying if you build it they will come , well we are building our selves as bandsters to a better us health wise , also we have to remember we are not all the same , but some of us have or had many issues, weather it be health, mental or addictions , I know personally I went through a lot when I was younger , but now I look at the positive instead of the negative , when I watched the show my 600 lb, life the one wear the Husband was being t wanted to take the woman aside and ask are you wanting to do this for you or for some one else as if we are not right with us , then we can not help our selves , as we bandsters are doing and I got to a point I was fed up and wanted to not to have to go to the Doctors almost every week for this or that because I was not healthy and it was affecting me , and Really where are the Physcs, to evaluate these people, to ask them all kinds of questions so they can understand why they are this or that way , if they Really think they can put in the work it takes to have wls, you are doing you as I am doing me and I think we are doing good , you just keep on your journey.


  3. I hope things get better for you , sometimes there are set backs after having major surgery , just try to remember why you wanted to be banded in the first place after losing your weight and looking and feeling more healthy , you will be able to do that again and other things you want , start back at pre op diet then go to post op diet or do the 5 day pouch test and see if that helps to get the 10 lbs off that you have gained , we won't beat you up or scold you , however , being depressed or stressed is what got us to our thinking and eating the way we did , just try to remember that you have that little tool that sometimes just needs to be cleaned and polished as you will be more polished soon enough and be able to shine even more.

As you said Today is a new day , so you just (jump) right back on don't walk (running so jus keep d} and jump back on lol , you've been doing your thing so keep doing it , you know what you did , and what you have done you got this no problem look what would have happened before your life style and little tool helped to change so don't stress yourself and we are human , you have been on this journey and are doing good ,


  5. Wow look at you , have u seen your self from when you began this journey you have jumped on this wagon and are running along side it lol keep on running you look healthy, happy and having the time of your life , keep it up ,

It does suck for the government employees as all of us weather we are in govermemt or not most of us just try to make ends meet and if you don't have two incomes you struggle , this really does effect everyone , they don't think it does but it does as I work at a grocery store , but if our customers don't have the funds then they don't buy as much and when we get slow they cut hours to save labor cost so then I don't get hours and make money, I hope you can actually get hours and get help from some where to help you at this time.

I went shopping the other day on my day off at the store and I asked one of the ladies I work with in the deli for a lb of pasta we sell and she said you can't eat all that I said I know I just want to have a few bites as they see how much I eat and stay full and satisified on what I drink or eat , then I had to tell her it was for the family mostly so I got it home and I ate 3 bites and I was satisified on it but then y stomache started to bloat so no pasta for me but it was good and satisfied the craving I had , however I don't need my stomache to expand as this is why I got banded lol plus my over eating and not knowing when to stop so I am glad this tool helps me recognize now.


  8. I really do think our bands are tighter in the morning I can do cereal if I chew real good each bite , but if I try to eat any kind of egg I will hurt in 15 min, so I just mostly either do cereal or a Protein drink and and that last me like forever of course I do drink water all day if possible but I do try to get something in the afternoon if not then for sure in the evening just my cup of food and that's it as I don't like to hurt at all .

Kuddos for u that u didn't forget urself and stuck by ur tool and who cares what the coworkers think they have problems also so they feed on other people's misery ,however I bet your friend who had thefire thinks your fiery and you did and r doing good for you and others so keep that in mind and body.


  10. Looks like the fridgerator also got skinny lol under and between the cupboards lol oh that's right not to much food to fill it up with since you have lost weight lol enjoy ur new home and get a lot of use out of that pool.

Isn't nice that you can go to a store and not worry it is not going to fit or have to go to a plus size for (women) or big & tall or larger size specialty stores . good for you and if you, your wife ,kids and band(mistress) are giving you the bells & whistles sort of speak then keep on keepin on biking and doing what you do I know you are feeling good .

They Rearange your insides with the sleeve and bypass and if you really don't watch what you eat then most of or al the weight you lose does come back ,the band is not a fix all it is a tool to help you adjust and when you adjust to it then you start to know and feel when you are full and when you have that stuck experience then you really know not to do it again, I am saying this cause my Aunt was a R. N nurse and she is about 67 and she has had 4 different surgeries 2 of them we're getting her stomache stapled ,cause that's what they used to do ,the one was the bypass and of course she gained back quite a bit the last one she had was the sleeve and she lost ,however I watched as she ate a double quarter pounder ,lg fri,1/2 a small watermelon then had popcorn and a big glass of soda ,she has lost but she could not get the band cause her stomache iwas connected to her liver so their we're complications when she went in for surgery for the band so when she woke up they told her that she got the sleeve so just becareful please and make sur it is your decision not anyone elses, cause your the one who has to adjust and live with it , not trying to scare anyone just ask as many questions as u want and make sure they don't u don't feel like their blowing you off also you might want to see some of the Surgeons patients in real life who have had success on the different ones and ask them questions I know I did so that's how I decided hope this helped in any way sorry for it being so long .

I hope I didn't offend you I had said in my reply to you that I know you would ride it off as I know you, ride a few miles on your bike so good for you , it does take some of us a while to learn and get how to control our ways of eating and with that said I went for a fill yesterday and I am down to 217 lbs so I am happy it's a slow process but it's getting there, I still like your post though I was at 276 when I started this journey july of 2012 so I guess I am doing good, so you keep (riding) & posting , keep up your good work.

We bandsters are all explovise in one form or another , I just hate that after I drink or eat it happens A LOT so I think everbody I know that knows me is used to it or they have excepted it so it will come & go I try to muffle the sound though lol but sometimes it's like a rattling muffler when I walk and know it doesn't stink , so I joke and say my s--- don't stink lol, but sometimes we have air bubbles that have to get out of are bands.


  15. Put lots of pillows behind u to help u out & when u start to feel uncomfortable then move one by oone or if sitting up haelps u sleep better then do that a lot of us had the same problem and make sure ur taking ur pain medicine the Doc gave u it will help u sleep also I know my liquid helped me so I hope what I said might help .
