LAP-BAND Patients

I had a really hard time trying to lay in the bed for the first 2 weeks. So I slept in my recliner and then when I did transition to the bed I would prop pillows all around me.

I literally had to make a cacoon of sorts. I had 2 body pillows - one on each side and one pillow over my abdomen and two under my head and one under my knees. There was barely any room in the bed for my husband. But, this was the only way I could sleep for the first week and a half.

I have tried everything and all I want is sleep.

It will get better. Try different sleeping positions, including the recliner. Hang in there.

I also slept in the the recliner for two weeks and then transitioned to the bed. I attempted to sleep in the bed when I can home and couldn't do it. It will get better :)
