  1. I had the same problem. I don't think I truly saw self as fat as I was. I do comparison pics every month and it really helps my head to catch up with what my body is doing although I still tend to focus on the negative areas that still need work.
  2. That's so wonderful!! Congrats!
  3. Congrats!! That is also what I love about the band. I don't feel like I'm constantly deprived or on a diet. It feel like this is just how I eat and exercise now.

  16. Well I am 7 months from surgery and down 69.5 pounds with no preop diet. This band has been the biggest blessing. It has definitely made this process easier although it is still hard work. I think the difference is the hard work is actually paying off when it didn't with other methods. I still struggle with seeing myself as small from time to time and I am still 35 pounds from goal but I feel so much better. I wonder if at times I have a harder time believing I was actually that big before surgery or that I am actually this size now lol
  17. I always gain weight the week before my TOM sometimes just a little and others more. This weeks it's 3.3 and I've stayed under my calorie goal all but one day. It's so annoying. But I know it will be gone with relative ease.
  18. Here is my humble opinion: Start over! Go back to liquids for a few days. Protein shakes and smoothies. Then go to some soft nutritious foods. There are plenty if healthier foods that should go down easier even if you're too tight. Think Greek yogurt, refried Beans. You need to ditch the chips and chocolate they won't help you lose even if its small amounts. Then slowly try to introduce more regular foods. You really do need to make getting an infill a priority so you don't do any damage. This is what I would do...Good Luck!
  19. That is INCREDIBLE!!! Way to go!! You SHOULD be proud!!
  20. I have watched friends do. That doesn't count though does it lol I would do a couch to 5k program and you should be good. Have fun! Congrats on making the commitment!
