  1. Congratulations! What an inspiration you are to all of us! I was shocked to find out you have a grand daughter. You don't look old enough for that in your profile pic
  2. Thanks for the kind words Everyone
  3. Thanks everyone!!!
  4. I got a pair of knee high boot!! Woot woot NSV!!!
  5. I am busy with two kids and work. I have to work out before work so I make sure I get it in. Unfortunately this means getting up at 4:15 but it's become such a habit now I don't feel as good if I sleep in instead.
  6. Congratulations!! Thank you for sharing your success!
  7. 203.7...almost to my goal for the month. Not sure i'll get there. That's down 1.2 for the week.
  8. I find that most of the time when I am having a Fierce craving the only thing that satisfies is the thing I am craving. I allow myself a small portion of it and I track it.
  9. Oh...I also got my first pair if knee high boots!!! That was a very exciting moment for me
  10. 1. I workout...start with smaller attainable goals. I started out by walking for 30 minutes 4 days a week. Then started a workout program with my xbox kinect (EA Sports Active 2), still four days a week with some alternating walking. Once I was cleared for abdominal exercises I decided to do a one month program five days a week with the UFC Fitness Trainer game, (I lost 2.75 inches in my waist during that 30 days ) NOW I am addicted and workout 6-7 days. I do insanity 4 days and Couch 2 5K two of the other days and on Sundays I either rest or do something fun like Dance Central. 2. I count my calories with My Fitness Pal...goalseeker32 if you wanna add me I didn't get a calorie goal from my dr or NUT so I go by what they tell me to eat to loose 2 lbs a week. Sometimes I am under that (especially now that I have gotten a fill) other days I eat all my exercise calories cause I'm hungry. I stick to the rules, Protein first, then veggies then carbs. 3. I only weigh once a week I do not like the ups and downs that come with daily weigh ins. It discourages and frustrates me. I would rather see 2 lbs at the end of the week than .3 for 7 days. 4. I don't deprive myself of anything I like homemade ranch dressing, and my creamer in my coffee so I use it but I count it. I allow myself small tastes of sweets when they are around because this is a lifestyle change not a diet. The diet mentality got me to needing this surgery so I have to break that thinking. 5. I take measurements monthly so I can see more progress than just on the scale. 6. When I need smaller clothes, I find a good deal and buy them because it helps me to see my progress.
  11. You look great!! Congrats!!
  12. Wow! You look fabulous! And what an amazing accomplishment to not only lose weight but get healthy! Congrats !!
  13. Wow...you look amazing!! Congrats!
  14. I'm so happy, I hit 50 pounds down this week and got my first fill. Thought I'd share. It's been hard work but so worth every calorie counted and burned.
  15. You look FABULOUS!!! Congrats on your great success!
  16. Checking in at 204.9!!! Down 5.2 lbs this week which makes me super happy because I was up last week and I finally hit 50 pounds lost!!!! I am about 4.5 months out from surgery so I am super happy at keeping an average of over 10 lbs a month.
  17. I start my day at 4:15, roll out of bed and go straight to my workout. In the shower by 5:30 and off to work by 6:30. I wish school started later so I wouldn't have to be up so early. But like you I don't feel as good if I skip that morning workout. It's also nice to not get interrupted by the kids.
  18. Checking in at 210.1...up 1.7 I ran everyday last week but I think I enjoyed too much food and cocktails. Oh well. I definitely need a fill my appt is on the 23rd. Ive been pretty hungry, especially with all the working out.
  19. You look awesome!!! Great work. Keep it up
  20. I JUST started it today. I am at 208 and have been working out four to five days a week for 4 months now. It is definitely intense but an amazing workout. The first one was about 40 minutes. The nice thing is you can just do your best at each exercise and still benefit from the workout. I did change the calendar to 4 days a week though because there is no way my friend and I are going to be able to do it all six days. I wanted to have realistic expectations I what I could make time for.
  21. I still have my daily coffee. I use the flavored creamers but only about 50 cal worth. If you just use milk and stevia you'll be fine. I actually gave up coffee for several months but once it got cold I gave in lol
  22. Down to 208.4...that's a 1.8 loss for the week
  23. I set my goal at 4 days a week for 30 minutes. I have little oneS (2 and 4) so it's hard to commit more time than that. If I find the time and motivation to get more days in great if not I still feel good about 4 days. I started by just walking for 30 min. Now I do more intense workouts. Just start doing something you enjoy and you will start feeling better and want to do more.
