  1. I had also acid reflux as well...the worse was when it would happen in my sleep and wake me up. I especially hated if it came thru my nose.
  2. Mine was pretty significant and I managed to have a speedy recovery. I pray the same for you!
  3. I had a hiatal hernia and I was fine. I was back to work in seven days and I didn't think my recovery was bad at all...
  4. I always thought losing weight helped you to look younger. I surely hope that is the case for me...LOL!
  5. It happens to me all the time. I just don't let it bother me...give yourself about 30 minutes you may be able to eat a little more.
  6. Mine does it all the time as well...I can't wait for it to stop. It is particularly embarrasing when its just two people in the room. I am always burping too and it is uncontrollable. I hope both end really soon!
  7. Congratulations! Keep up the good work and I am so happy for your wife as well...tell her to keep supporting you and both of you will make it to your desired goal!
  8. Yayy for you!!
  9. I just thought I would post about having a hard time getting my required water and protein in on the weekends. During the weekday it is easy because I am at work with prepared lunch and water bottles with crystal light. However, as soon as Saturday comes, I start out with my 40 oz of water and so far that is all I have managed to intake for the day. We won't even mention eating because I have hardly eaten anything all day. Is it just me or is weekends the hardest???
  10. I think they judge so harshly because they don't know any better. I had my surgery on July 2nd and tried to drink a maragarita but after two or three sips I was totally gone...so needless to say I have decided to let it go...LOL! Now that did not stop my weight loss and I am still losing. I may actually be hitting a stall but I will get back on my exercise this week. Good luck and don't worry your sleeve will not fail you behind a drink...LOL!
  11. Congratulations and I am so excited for you...I am loving this new journey as well and I know in the end we will look and feel great!!!
  12. You look great! I am sure you feel even better!
  13. I was sleeved on July 2nd and have lost 25 pounds. I lost 6 pounds on preop.
  14. I am constantly burping and it happens after drinking and eating and sometimes just for no reason at all...anyone else experience this? When does it end???
  15. I am the same way and I was sleeved July 2nd but drink water first and see if the hunger pains subside. I am trying to eat 3 meals a day...not any more than that...I can't eat a lot either.
  16. Too funny...please don't leave the fat! :D
  17. Wow you look great! The stall will pass
  18. Try ordering it on-line. Unjury has a site and I ordered my protein from them.
  19. I had acrylic nails (solar nails) and my toes were painted. No one said anything...
  20. Congratulations! I have just lost my first twenty pounds too and it feels great. I have some jeans that are too big and I know I need to give them away...I can't wait until all of my larger size clothes are too big. Once again, Congratulations!!!

I would just stick to walking. If you walk on a treadmill increase your speed and give it a slight incline lift. I will be six weeks on Monday and can't wait to be able to do some light weight lifting. I have a doctor's appointment the following week and I need to inquire about the ability to do sit-ups...
  22. I cooked beans in the slow cooker on last Sunday...I will be on regular diet starting Monday and I will take it slow. I have not tried any nuts, I thought they were excluded until after 8 weeks. I need to look at my diet progression book again...
  23. I didn't have any glue either and my doctor took off the steri-strips that hadn't fell off when I saw him at 3 weeks out. He said the incisions were fine and he must have been right cause I will be six weeks on Monday and I am doing just fine...
  24. Well congratulations on the sleeve and getting off those medications! I pray this surgery helps to get you at your desired weight and the bypass surgery will not be necessary.

I think you are referring to P90X the exercise program...If so, I don't know a lot about the program othern than some co-workers would get together and do it and the few times I watched them exercise...it looked really intense. I don't think I would be ready and I have been walking the treadmill at the gym for an hour at least 3-4 days a week. I have increased my incline and pace and I would still not be ready for P90X.
