I am constantly burping and it happens after drinking and eating and sometimes just for no reason at all...anyone else experience this? When does it end???

I have had the same problem since my surgery in May. If there is a solution, I haven't found it yet...

Omg I am always burping...while my kids (5,2and1) think it is hysterical, it is beyond annoying!

I burp a lot more than I used to. I just say excuse me. It's not the end of the world. Also, I burp with my mouth shut unless i'm alone. One nice thing: I fart alot less! I think it's because I don't eat as much as I did pre-op. Who knows, but I'll take skinny and burping over fat and farting!

I wonder why it is. It's happening to me too. Anyone know the technical reason why we burp more after the sleeve?

It may be that you are eating too much and too quickly. Ive had the same issues and I find if I take my time eating it isnt quite so bad. Hard habits to break I know....but there you go.

I think I am a little jealous of all of you cuz I think I would get some relief if I could just burp. I can totally see that it can get annoying has anyone tried maybe digestive enzymes before food or gas-x strips? Good luck! Great topic!
