  4. Everyone doesn't have stitches on their incision so we are cleared earlier than some to get in the pool. I was sleeved on June 28th and cleared for the pool on July 10th. My surgeon used deems bond on my incisions which are hardly noticeable.
  5. Let's see I had sardines in Water which I thought would be ok and vomited. I had two cheeto puffs that melt in your mouth and vomited. I had two lime tortilla chips tried with my refried Beans and vomited only the chips. So needless to say now I know better
  6. When can milk be consumed? Before surgery I drank 8oz of organic fat free milk every morning. I miss my milk.
  7. ACV is also a natural remedy for acid reflux and reducing water retention.
  8. Does anyone know a sleeves who has lost 140 or more lbs? That is my goal and I'm wondering if that's attainable...possible...logical??? Yes I am in deep thought over here because I really want to loose that amount or more
  9. My spinach omelet with the cheese sprinkled on top. Bon Appetit!
  10. SimplyQuel, What do you like to eat? Start there but make sure it's high Protein. What you described (snacking and not planning) is what my NUT said will cause plateaus. But on the other hand sound like you average 14 lbs per month which is actually healthy weight loss. For breakfast I eat an egg and just recently added a little spinach and cheese to it. I will probably stick with my egg and add a piece of fruit like applesauce once i can take it all in. For lunch I look for the high protein chicken or fish and make different meals with it and slowly adding my veggies to it. For dinner I can't go wrong with a Protein shake. In between meals I drinks Water and snack on Jello. That's it but I'm 3 weeks post op but planning has help me. I've lost more than 42 lbs in a month only because I weigh more. Plan your meals and I'm sure you will start seeing results again.
  11. Normally not because it's alternative medicine/healing. I only pay $50 when I get accupuncture. That's less than paying for prescription meds that hurt us.
  12. Eat the eat first you may not make it to the ham. Ham may be too tough to digest so soon.
  13. I put 2 frozen strawberries in my strawberry Protein shake and blend it. I'm sure that does not cause danger because it's puréed
  14. Oh I was on my soapbox...congrats qdiesel!
  15. I thought I was the finest thing in Texas! What! 8 lbs from being out of the 3's! This is Day 21!
  16. I rested for 4 straight days because the pain was so intense. If you want the pain to subside put the gym on hold and rest. I took half of a tylenol per my doctor and rested. Today marks day 21 and my muscle stitching inside pain finally ended Sunday, July 15
  17. 1 medium egg 1 tbsp cooked chopped spinach 1-2 tsp shredded 2% cheese 1 tsp Water for moisture At 3 weeks post-op this was a nice Breakfast treat. I should have taken a picture. Will do tomorrow
  18. Since surgery, actually 14 days out I suffered fr acid reflux. Arrrgghhh doctor said take this or that, just like many here. I said no thanks. So, I went to my accupuncturist, Dr. Ling, and no more reflux, no burning throat, no gagging ! I am a believer. Plus same Dr. did acupuncture on my knees in July 2009 I was walking with a cane at 40. No cane since August 2009.
  19. Very possible! I was 372 high weight in January, 357 starting pre-op, and 340 at surgery. I'm now 308. surgery was June 28. So yes, it is very possible. You can do it!
  20. I drove on day 5 or 6 because I was not on pain meds since Day 2
  21. You will probably only get in about 2 to 4 tsps. I did both around day 11 and was stuffed
