Gastric Sleeve 2 Wk Post Op

I was weighing 292 before my pre-op diet, on my 2 wk diet before surgery I lost 16 pounds. Once I had the surgery in the first week I lost 16 pounds. I recommend the surgery! The day of surgery you are in little pain but you have the morphine button and you push when you want the drug. The second day I would say would be the hardest because you have a little nausea from the anesthesia and that is when you get introduced to your liquids. Zip slowly so you won't panic when you begin to burp. I only vomited 2 times on the 2nd day because of the nausea. The gastric juice tube was removed the day after surgery as well. I was told to take a deep breath and on the count to 3 it would be out. I just said owch in low tone, it was just a discomfort feeling. It is 2 weeks and I feel no pain.

My sleeve on the 25th of jun !!

Thanks! I am doing great! No pain! I get to eat ham and egg on Tuesday. Yippy! I feel great! It is so worth the surgery.

Eat the eat first you may not make it to the ham. Ham may be too tough to digest so soon.
