Incision pain on or around the incision is normal and it can feel like someone is stabbing you. Your muscle tissue and everything underneath your skin is going through healing. Acid Reflux/heart Burn Post Op
I'm in Houston too? Have you had your surgery? acid reflux may also feel like a burning in your throat. You may cough or hack during a spell. I had acupuncture and it subsided for about 3 weeks. I now take Zantac and get a lot of relief. U have found that in the days I exercise I don't experience terrible reflux.

For Sleeved Parents Of Special Needs Kids
I am not a parent of special needs children but I have triplet brothers who are special needs dual diagnosis for each one. This is a subject near and dear to me. I am trying to convince my mom to have the surgery. Although my brothers are 42 and have their own place and caregivers, life is still a challenge for my parents. My mom could get around better for them with the weight off.

Most Humiliating Fat Moment
- Labor Day Challenge 2012
Kicking butt and taking names....I am 16 lbs from my Labor Day Challenge goal weight!!!- Beverage
Not a recipe but I thought I would share: Lipton has a diet green tea watermelon flavor that was refreshing and just a bit of variety from water. Zero sugar, zero carbs, zero calories. It tasted really good!- Grocery Store Melt Down..
Awwwww group hug for everyone. I actually love going to the grocery store because all of the money I save. I am learning to cook small, small portions because it's just me and my teen daughter. Every now and then I will cook for a family of 5 and will call my God brother to come by and pick up the meal that's so food won't go to waste.- 14 Months Out W/ Pictures
Whoa well don't you look sexy! I can't wait until I can cross my legs...it's been 15 years since I could. You are an inspiration!- Stomas, Pouches, Rny, Oh My!
My surgeon never referred to any part as a ouch unless I missed something....always the sleeve and even had a replica of a stomach and a sleeved stomach. I can agree that the surgeries are similar and more importantly the surgeries warrant the same results - weight loss.- Stomas, Pouches, Rny, Oh My!
Interesting! I've noticed done who make comments I know that are directly related to the gastric bypass. Even my bf who had the bypass said "don't blow your pouch". I paused and was like ok she thinks our surgeries were the same. Lol I guess I shouldn't let people go on sounding ignorant and should clue them in huh? Lol- Vst Or Wls Acronyms And Terms.........let's All Contribute So We All Know
- I Feel Guilty
I always order Soup...well I've only been to a restaurant thrice since surgery: Olive Garden, Pappasitos and Chachos.- Ate Too Fast! Aarrrgghhh
For the first time since my surgery (June 28) I ate too fast trying to get ready for church and boy it's not a good feeling. Lesson: Get up earlier than normal to start your day so you can take your time to eat and enjoy your breakfast.- I Know My Sleeve Is Working When...
You go girl! Lol- I Know My Sleeve Is Working When...
1. I don't have to get my daughter to tie my shoes or only wear slide on shoes- I Know My Sleeve Is Working When...
