  1. Andi0102, My hair is loc'd too. I am already thin at the top but my stylist treats it and it's thicker. I currently looking for a good Vitamin regime to follow. Hair loss is expected but can also be minimalized with proper Vitamins.
  2. Surgery June 28 and today July 1st was the first day I got in two 8 oz protein shakes. I have the Bariatric Advantage chocolate which is so good to me. My goal is to get in 3 shakes per day which will give me 81g of protein per day while I on liquids for these two weeks. My doctor's office sells my powder but we have the option of using the following per his advice: optifast shakes, Myoplex, or Smoothie King Hladiator Shakes these are all meal replacements
  3. Although I am only 5 days post op I was told by my doctor and dietician make sure you are not graving eating small amounts all day. Eat your 3 meals and 2 snacks or meal replacements. I have not lost anything but the 17 lbs pre op in 2 weeks. I am looking forward to the continuous WL to kick in about 3 weeks. I want it to be steady not rushed. Goto your dietician. Good luck
  4. I just had my surgery on Thursday, June 28 and went home Saturday. Days 1 and 2 were hard. This gas is no fun. Having a hard time getting in 64 ounces of water. I used to drink 80 easily prior to surgery. I am still sore but haven't need pain meds since Day 2. Very bloated.
