Did anyone develop diabetes after surgery? I have a discoloration on my neck friends say its signs of diabetes. I am upset of the possibility. I had the surgery to prevent diabetes. I have to schedule a dr appt.

Hey Msvickee, try not to worry. I haven't heard of anyone getting diabetes after vsg. My honest opinion is you're okay but I'm not a doctor and checking it out is a good idea. For right now, stay positive!! Hormones can cause skin discoloration, I got it a lot and our bodies are putting out tons of hormones right now.
