  1. AMAZING...absolutely amazing...
  2. Prior to being sleeved in July, I had 2 c-sections, surgery to repair a triple hernia, and a total hysterectomy...and I had no complications. I wish you good luck.
  3. Crystal Lite. I LOVE the natural tea with lemon and the classic orange.
  4. I have a (partial) meniscal tear in my right knee, and like you, I won't have surgery while carrying so much extra weight. It would totally defeat the purpose!
  5. Oh, I have NO regrets about this surgery. I'm just impatient, and like instant gratification. I know things will work out in the long run...I just have to relax. HA!
  6. I told a choice circle of girlfriends, 3 co-workers, and assorted family. My husband has told everyone else. Thanks.
  7. How dare you ruin my pity party! LMAO! Intellectually, I agree with you. Emotionally, I'm going crazy!
  8. I can't wait to wear a pair of nice-fitting jeans with a belt, and my shirt tucked in! Looking foward to NOT standing on my daily commute because I'm embarrassed to share a 2-seater.
  9. When you find out, let me know!
  10. I was sleeved on July 3rd, and have lost a whopping 15 pounds! (lost 11 pounds pre-op). When does the 'great melting' take place???!
  11. I feel the same way. I'm not bothered by the fact that I don't care about eating. However, I do have to take in all the proper nutrients, so I read labels carefully, and avoid 'bad' foods. I love being able to drive PAST McDonalds and not be tempted by the quarter pounder with cheese, and a fry!
  12. I am 1 month post-op and hate eating! I don't crave anything, don't look foward to a particular meal, etc. I used to love scrambled eggs with cheese. Not anymore...they are like lead in my stomach. I eat for nourishment, not enjoyment. Crystal Lite is saving my life! I love the natural tea with lemon, the orange, and pink lemonade. I was getting sick of plain Water all day. Sigh...
  13. I am one month post-op, and today is the first time, the protein shake made me queasy. To day, I was able to drink them without a problem....then BAM! UGH! Now I have to eat more meat (something I never really did before surgery). When I was able to drink the shakes, I added black decaf coffee to give them a mocha flavor. This really helped to add flavor. Good luck!
  14. Melon Almonds...I especially like these for the crunch-factor since I no longer eat potato chips
  15. 150-140. When that happens, you won't hear fro me, as I will be passed out from shock!
  16. *sitting comfortably in a stadium seat or at the theater *wearing heels without feeling like they are going to push through my foot like a spike *tucking in my shirt, and wearing a belt on my jeans *shopping for WIDE width shoes *fashionable shoes! *NOT having to take the escalator DOWN...walking through the housewares dept. to get to the fat clothes! *Looking FABULOUS!
  17. While I was a 'normal' child/teen, like you I cannot envision being SMALL. I mentioned on an earlier post that I am 52, and have been fat for about 27 years or so. The fact that I don't even really like food or eating anymore is CRAZY!!! So, yeah, I will learn to deal with being called TOO skinny!
  18. Time for a new beautician
  19. Does this include your pre-op diet (if any)?
