  1. So pretty!! Way to go on your success!!!
  2. Ah, yes I read that but that is Liz. Can you believe both are suffering this complication. It is so horrible. I'm so glad Liz is home perhaps Sannah is as well! Hug to you- Lisa
  3. Sannah, been looking for an update on you. Your in my thoughts, I pray you are seeing better days and getting lots of precious healing love from your lil angel!! Let us know how you are... *hugs* -Lisa
  4. Hoping for the best for you too!! Just really concentrate on yourself and take more time if needed.
  5. Thank you, BB. I was feeling the exact same way!
  6. I really like the cereal as well. I was excited to find it. It helps to give our bodies a little break from all the meat and egg proteins. Good stuff!
  7. Awwwwww....I always love your post. You are so witty u make me laugh always but this time I smiled and just thought she's a lucky woman.
  8. First never ever leave your wife with her father ever again how horribly cruel he was both physically and mentally :( Now the drain hurts, its like heaven when it is gone. So that may help. Stay on top of her pain. Take the pain med as scheduled do not wait til she hurts. Don't force protein or foods right now. She is healing. Encourage sipping of fluids, water, gatorade, sf popsicles. Filling her tummy with yogurt or protein will just make her miserable right now. If she asks for a bite or a lick, let her have that...she definitely shouldn't be forcing protein right now. Fluids fluids fluids. Glad she has you. Take care of her. Let her know that drain removal should help so much! Most people are on liquids for two weeks so be gentle. At 6 days focus on fluids in small sips through out the day. When you start her on thinned protein drinks try premier protein ready to drink shakes from sams or Costco. Never push intake but be consistent with fluid. Aim for an ounce every 20 minutes or so but don't be a drill seargent She is lucky to have you!
  9. Benisa you look beautiful, great job!
  10. 15 to 20 in a week??? Not possible, I believe its usually about a pound a day but not even that mostly 15 to 20 a month. Now I could be wrong but this is what I have seen. I think you're doing great, no worries.
  11. Hope you start getting better soon, Lissa! You're in my thoughts!! *hugs*
  12. Wait where did your post go? lol
  13. I'm not sure so this is a guess but perhaps the butter was too rich right now. It could have been the culprit. It sounds like you had a bad case of the slimes. Go slow and also don't use sugar if you can try stevia or sweet n low or equal.
  14. I'm so sorry you lost your Dad. But keep trying, Becca! One day at a time. I have faith in you!
  15. Are you in isolation because of the suspected mrsa? You and your mom are in my thoughts. I hope your both together and home soon!
  16. B12 helps! I can't really think of anything besides that and vitamins.
  17. Premier is awesome and very appropriate protein and calorie wise. I would not advise any of the drinks that contain sugar but that's a personal choice.
  18. My hardest task every single day is getting in my fluids as well. I still have problems with that, even at almost 8 months out
  19. I've had to take bactrim and my surgeon told me to eat a few graham cracker bites before cutting the pill up and swallowing. It's hard to do but helps my stomach. I take a zofran after as well, it just melts under my tongue. Hope you get it sorted out, best of luck!
  20. Hehe- that made me laugh out loud!
  21. I've cut mine as well. I think I'm keeping it until my hair stops falling out. I hoped at 7 months it would be stopping. I may need a scalp transplant! Yikes!
  22. No youre doing great. My loss was slow and steady, never any huge amounts but every lb adds up. It's hard but have faith. I was discouraged early on as well but trust me your doing good. A lot of people have water retention and lose lots of water weight and lbs at first. Not everyone is the same in losing but we all do and if you are following your plan your going to as well!!!
