  6. The same thing happened to me. i lost 10 pounds pre op.. i had surgery and i did not lose again unti 8 days post op and i lost 4 pounds. then i realized that i cant expect this weight to just fall off . i need to be an active participant so i started exercising daily and that has helped tremendously. my sx was july 12th. i have lost a total of 25 pounds including pre op. im not yet at 1 month but i will be on aug 12th. normally i lose about 3 pounds per week as long as i am exercising consistently and eating my Protein and drinking my fluids
  7. can u have white fish now? i could eat white fish 15th day post op....fish has lots of protein
  8. i was thinking that once i had the surgery the weight was going to just fall off but thats a misconception you have to exercise and im ok with that
  9. That happened to me. i lost 10 pounds pre ope. then after surgery i lost 5 pounds by the 7th post op day and then i stalled. so i had to figure out what to do because that just wasnt good. so i made some changes. at first i was drinking my Protein shake at 10 pm and i changed that. i started drinking my Protein Shake no later than 8 pm and if i got hungry after 8 pm i had Jello or sugar free pudding. then instead of doing 30 minutes of walking a day i began doing 60 minutes of walking per day. since i changed up i have dropped an additional 8 pounds.
  10. I was already doing 30 minutes per day. i was doing 15 minutes twice a day. and i stalled so i had to increase it to 60 minutes per day. since i increased it to 60 minutes per day i have lost 8 pounds. I increased my walking on July 26th
  11. yes but i increased my daily walking and my stall broke
  12. i had my sx july 12th i tried Protein isopure but it made me gag so my first week i had Jello, popsiciles and broth and crystal light my advice is drink what you can tolerate and stay hydrated.
  13. Im sorry to hear what you have been through. I cant imagine what u had to go thru but Thank God you are better. God be with you and keep you safe
  14. I had my surgery on July 12th. I got into a stall but the last 3 days i increased my walking to 60 minutes per day and now i am losing weight again. i lost 3 pounds in 3 days since i increased my walking
  15. My surgery was on July 12th. I had a stall also but i increased my exercise. instead of walking 30 minutes per day, i walk 60 minutes per day. i increased my walking 3 days ago and i have dropped 3 pounds.
  16. i felt the same way but im glad i did it its scary but its worth it i was very nervous i had been reading about people having problems after surgery. i kept asking God to watch over me and allow me to have a speedy recovery and he did just that
  17. when i got in a stall like you i increased my walking instead of walking 30 minutes per day now im walking 60 minutes per day and since i started doing that i have lost 5 pounds so my advice to you is to increase your walking and the weight should start falling off again
  18. My Prayers are with you for a safe surgery and speedy recovery
  19. i got in a stall so i started walking on a trail near my house. i walked for an hour yesterday and i broke the stall I lost 2 pounds question? How much exercise are you getting per day? are you drinking enough fluids?
  20. Keep taking your vitamins religiously. make sure you have your protein religiously. give your hair protein hair treatments which you can find out salley's beauty store. your hair will grow back. i loss my hair the last time i lost weight and it grew back but i took vitams, had my protein and i gave myself protein hair treatments
  21. I tried the isopure initially but it made me gag so i decided not to take it. i started getting my Protein in when i could start back drinking my Protein shakes which was my second week. my dr office told me not to worry about the protein the first week . they told me to focus on not getting dehydrated and that what i did. i had broth, Jello, popsicles, crystal light and it worked fined. my 2nd week i focued on protein. i started having my protein shakes again. once i began drinking them i was fine.
