  2. I had a stall for 3 weeks. I stopped exercising for a week and i started back a week later and it broke my stall. so with that being said you have to do something different in order to break your stall. Good Luck!
  3. You will not fail. I thought the same way. I had stalls also but eventually the stall breaks and I lose. Even if I lose slowly i'm still happy. You will reach your goal eventually. you may not reach your goal when u want to but you will reach it in time. so dont worry just keep doing what you are doing.
  4. My Surgeon was Dr Matthew St. Laurent .....He was great!!!!
  5. Hi I eat about 800-1000 calories per day. i am 3 months post op. I lose about 1 pound per week with no exercise. if i exercise daily i lose about 2 pounds per week. i also keep track of my daily calories using myfitnesspal. i dont count carbs. i remember when i wasnt eating many carbs i wasnt losing weight because my body was holding on to those carbs. now i am losing weight weekly cuz i just cound calories and so far it is working.
  6. Hi, its going to get better. I had my surgery on july 2012. a couple of days after my surgery i started wondering why in the hell i did this to myself. i kept thinking this was too drastic. but now im 3 months post op and im glad i had the surgery. now i can eat whatever i want but i just cant eat a lot of it.. which is fine with me. dont worry it will get better as time goes on and you will be able to eat whatever you want. and the good thing about eating whatever you want is that since you have had your surgery you want be able to over eat. and thats a big plus because if you dont over eat then you want gain weight.....
  7. ...I am a slow loser as well but it is coming off. i lose about 1 pound a week but i am happy with that....
  8. i am sick of protein shakes as well. so instead of the shakes i eat beans, chicken, turkey ground, eggs, yogurt, protein bars, lunch meat, shrimp and fish in order to get my protein
  9. Men do cheat. It has happened to me. Just keep moving forward. I'm sorry that it happened to you but it will make you stronger. You must get your calories in because if you dont your body will hold on to the weight . My nut said that if you are not eating enough calories you will not lose weight because your body will hold on to the fat. Good Luck. Keep your head up. And Stay focus on what you need to do in order to accomplish your weight goals.
  10. stop exercising ...maybe you are no eating enough calories and your body is holding on to the calories. plus if you are exercising you are burning my calories and your body could be holding on those few calories,
  11. Congrats on your weight loss! Try to stay focus on you and your son.... Im not married so i cant comment on your relationship. But Im not married by choice. I just dont have time for the drama.
  12. I feel the same way i went to the nut the other day she said that if im not eating enough calories then my body will hold on to the calories its like your body may be in a starvation mode how many calories are you eating? if you are exercising make sure you are eating as well
  13. i have the same problem i went to my nut this week i told her that i was not losing weight like i wanted to she said if i dont eat enough calories daily i will be starving my body and i will not lose weight so i had to find something daily that i can eat to make sure i am getting enough calories
  14. the same exact thing happened to me. but you have to follow your doctors orders regarding Protein and Fluid. also you must walk as well. good luck! we have to just keep pushing forward. my weight never just dropped off. i had to put forward effort just like prior to surgery . i must walk daily and do some activities in order for the weight to come off. some people dont have to put forth effort but in my case i have to.
  15. Take Your time when you date. Get to know the person. Dont focus on looks because looks dont mean anything at all. Focus on the heart. If they have a good heart then thats a big plus.
  16. Congrats! Do everything they tell you to do and you will be fine.
  17. Great Job Patrick!! Just keep pushing and before you know it you will be where you want to be. Take small steps and the small steps will add up to big steps You look Great
