I just saw the previews on the TLC website. It looks like a really cool show... but, really? Do surgeons really cart out the fat and skin they remove for the patients to see after the surgery? That seems like a "made-for-TV" moment that wouldn't happen under normal circumstances.
Does anyone know if this show is available on demand anywhere?

holy crap you lost like 50 lbs in 2 weeks? thats crazy I lost like 15lbs in 9 days.. but i am also now on more than just a clear liquid diet. My soreless is getting less and less. are you having any periods of weakness or like blah? i feel good like physically but i feel like shaky a little and tired as crap

And BTW I completely feel ya on the Ferris Wheel. I am deathly afraid of heights. But I am such an adrenaline junky that I will face that fear for the rush. The wheel has no rush, just fear. At least that's why I won't ride it.

I started looking at new facilities this morning. I was thinking the same thing! What if it gets worse after surgery :/

LMAO these are all too funny...... I love it when I would wear pants and they would be fitting really great in the AM, but by the afternoon, they were toooooo toooooo big. Love it. Also when your office chair can fit 2 of you....

When using a public restroom, I won't have to stand on the toilet to get the door open and closed.

No my doc didn't have me do a preop diet because I had lost 14 pounds two months prior to surgery with diet and exercise. I went in at 235.

Wait...you mean I SHOULDN'T weigh myself 1000 times a day?! PSH. that's unheard of!
OK..OKAY!! I'm in. Me weighing myself everyday isn't doing me any good anyway. I see the 1lb loss everyday and I just shrug my shoulders, unimpressed. I think I will appreciate the big number vs all the small ones.

Fantastic, you can really tell a big difference. I'm only a week sleeved, since my beginning stats are like yours I hope my success is close to yours. How many calories do you consume, and what type of exercise have you been doing? Your doing great keep it up.

It's hard to say what size because I had found that elastic or draw string pants felt better....but I think I was a 26...quite possibly a 28.

I questioned the juice, as well. I'm only allowed a maximum of 4 oz of a non-sugar added juice, and that only if diluted to 16 oz. Even with no sugar added, its way high in carbs (and those carbs are empty "fruit sugar" carbs). If you're wanting fruit flavored drinks, I would suggest switching to something like Fruit20, or another flavored, non-carbonated, Water. Other than that, there isn't a "maximum" amount of fluids you can drink...at least not that I know of....as long as you're also getting enough Protein (my rule is 75-85 grams of Protein per day).

I get hiccups when I'm full. Usually its just two hiccups almost after every meal. For some reason alot of sleevers get a runny nose or hiccups after eating. They don't last long. They make me giggle a little.

I have been traveling with significant amounts of liquids (medicated formula for my son) for six years now. I would HIGHLY advise you print that out and carry it with you. Two times out of three I am asked to open (and thus spoil) each individual, medically sealed container. Don't get upset, remember you are dealing with some of the lowest intelligence beings on the earth, and calmly ask for a supervisor if asked to open the items or are given any slack. Each item will be screened in a machine to check for bad goober which takes a few mins. Don't arrive late! DON'T CARRY ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS AGAINST THE RULES! You are already peeving them off so don't include Shampoo in a gallon size bottle . You will also likely get the full body pat down because of your extra cargo. It's par for the course so be calm and just picture Barry fife.
You may get lucky and have none of the issues above...but I get that nearly every trip....or did until we bought our own plane because we got sick of it.

I do the same thing...all the time. I soooo want to talk to them and tell them about my surgery. I do tell EVERYONE that asks me about it tho...cant shut me up!

And also wanted to add my diabetes has gone into remission since surgery! I am THRILLED about that! I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic last summer and freaked out! I will always be vigilant about my eating and keeping the sugars/carbs as low as possible because I know diabetes can always come roaring back if I go back to the "old me". The sleeve has helped a lot with that and I'm so very grateful!

Please let me be cold again, I can live with that side effect. Not only Summer but during the Winter months I always have people ask aren't you cold with only that short sleeve shirt? First, I have to ponder for a second and would like to hand them a " Here's your sign." but I turn and always say nope but I have plenty of insulation. It always brings a smile to them. Hey if you can not have fun with it.

I really hope this happens for me! I live in the Phoenix area and it's already hit 108 this week.
