Is This Normal?... Or Am I A Total Fatty
I was able to have mushie foods starting week 3 and week four. My doctor considers eggs to be mushie. I was lacking in protein for the day...kind of forgot about the fat and cholesterol. Thanks for your input!

Is This Normal?... Or Am I A Total Fatty
I am two weeks post op and I feel like I can eat more than I should be able to? Quantity wise. I read on here that someone else who is 2 weeks post opt ate half of a hard boiled egg and was full? for dinner the other night I had 5 hard boiled eggs?... to fill me up. For dinner. Is there something wrong with me? My band is empty and I will not have a fill until July 16th... I just don't want to start out on the wrong foot. I am making pretty good choices in the types of food I eat and I'm pretty much sticking to my doctors orders as far as what foods I can eat. I know I'm not getting the 64oz of water I need, so that could be the issue? I'm trying and I constantly have a bottle of water on my desk or near me wherever I may be but I've never been much of a drinker. Just wanted to clarify and see if I was on a slippery slope towards screwing something up or if I'm kind of headed in the right direction. :/

What Are You Looking Forward To?
There are sooo many things I'm looking forward to but here are a few that come to mind. *fitting in my car better, without being right up on the steering wheel. *wearing high heels *not getting out of breath so easily. *being stared at cause I'm hot not cause I'm fat. *being able to fit in to a booth without having to move the table. *the ability to walk longer distances without feeling pain in my legs. *having sex without thoughts of insecurities *smaller sizes in clothes *eventually participate in a 5k/marathon I think that'll do for now :-)

Day 9 Post Op Diet... Did I Do Any Damage?? Comments Please.
- 2 Days Post Opp And In Pain
Mine did! I wore them only while I was in the hospital- Im An Idiot And Ate Mushies Too Soon
I am feeling this same type of concern. I was 1 week post op on Tuesday and I have cheated and had some mushies earlier than I should. I too felt starved. But I also have that constant worry in the back of my mind that I could mess something up, which is the last thing I want to do. I too think I'm going to return back to liquids as instructed.- 11 Months, 131 Pounds Gone - Normal Bmi!!!!
So amazing! I hope to have your success, congrats!- Egd & Approval!!!
Congratulations!- New To Website.
Congrats on your success thus far!- Banded June 5Th And Finally Feeling Good!
I too was banded on June 5th. I'm feeling pretty good. Although, last night I started to feel a lot of pain near my port but I think that's because I bent down the wrong way or something. I haven't really been out of the house yet, just been kinda taking it easy but I plan on venturing out tomorrow. As far as food goes, my diet is a little different than yours. I've been on a liquid diet since surgery and I'll be on a liquid diet until it's been 2 weeks after surgery. Then I can finally move to mushies. But I'm living off cream of broccoli soup and sugar free Popsicles. I think I may get some cream of wheat to try. I have yet to sleep on my stomach yet but I'm more of a side sleeper and I've been doing that just fine. I was on a liquid diet 10 days before surgery and lost 18lbs, I have yet to weigh myself since surgery but I'm eager to see what else I've lost. Good luck in the rest of your journey!- Hooray!!!!!!!! 100Lbs Down!!!!!!
Congrats on your success!- I Was Approved Today!!!
Congrats!- Today Is The Day Of Rebirth
Thanks for all of your kind words all! I went home from the hospital around noon yesterday and I feel ok. Soreness of course and I sort of feel like I have some heaviness on my chest but I believe that's because I am somewhat congested. Other than that I'm staying on top of taking my phenergan and ibuprofen because I started to feel like I would throw up yesterday and I'm so scared to throw up. Feels good to finally be on the other side, now I'm just trying to be patient in feeling well as well as feeling somewhat normal.- Today Is The Day Of Rebirth
In about 3 hours I will be going in for surgery! I'm excited and ever so ready to get this new chapter in my life started, this improved me started. I'm also pretty nervous as I've never had a surgery, aside from a tonsilectomy. I want it more than I fear it though... so here goes- Tattoo before and afters
I too was wondering about this. I have several tattoos and quite a bit of weight to lose. Hoping they don't look like crap afterwards!- I Can't Decide
Go for it! I've read so many success stories on it and it gave me confidence in where my life could be. I am scheduled to have the lapband on 6/5 and honestly for the first time in my life I'm confident that this will work, I'm confident that a healthy life is ahead of me, and I'm confident that my future will be brighter because of this surgery. I'm scared don't get me wrong, because surgery is scary period but I also know that it's aa surgery that isn't as uncommon as it once was and I have every faith in the fact that it will be worth it!- Still Struggling With Body Image
I have yet to get banded but I know your feeling all too well. I hit the scale at just over 400lbs and one minute I think I look good and then I'll stand sideways or get one of those lovely stares from a stranger and it's all down hill from there. You need to remember where you came from and where you're at, as well as where you're headed! Talk yourself up and BELIEVE it! As far as your boyfriend, maybe talk with him? I too had issues of where I felt like my partner wasn't wanting sex because of the way I looked... and honestly, for me, hearing that I'm beautiful and attractive to my partner makes me feel better. At the end of the day you just got to believe that you are beautiful!- 100 Pounds...gone!! :d
That is so fantastic! I'm getting banded on 6/5... I hope to be where you are in 5 months. 100lbs down would be... well amazing. Congrats to you and keep us posted. I may write you for pointers in the future :-)- I Always Feel Dizzy On This Pre-Op Liquid Diet!!
I started my liquid diet Sunday and I too am feeling some dizziness. Just trying to push through. Makes for a long day though.- Tomorrow Is The Big Day!!!!
That's so awesome! I'm well on my way. June 5th is my day. Keep us updated- 5 Weeks Post Op
Amazing! Way to go- Someone Noticed!!!!!!
Fantastic! Way to go- Still Remaining Strong On This Pre-Op Liquid Diet!!
