  1. I barely wanted to drink anything at all just a 1/4c maybe the first few days, I had a rough recovery, and 1.5hrs seems way too fast! I waited like 4-5, and I begged, I just wanted to be in my own bed! For your soreness swallowing, I'm sure your tummy is just sore, your body took a beating! Good luck!
  2. I called my "emergency number" and talk to some idiot who's NOT a bariatric doc at all, he said wait till Monday and see my doc. But I have a gut feeling something is really wrong, and I live in a very small town in Iowa, my surgeons office is over an hour away. None of the ER docs around here know jack....very frustrating, can't find anything about it anywhere online either. When you all get fills does your Doc seem to get the needle in a little, and then kinda "poke" around to get it in the port? He seems a little rough, my last fill was like 3-4wks ago, andsince then iI had one or two days with very slight pain, but today has been awful, can't even arch my back without feeling a sharp ass pain!
  3. I'm having sharp pain at my port site when I breath deep or I pick something up using my abdominals, post op 14months...I'm freaking out! Anyone had this at all?
  4. Hello everyone! I'm having sharp pain at my port site when I take real deep breaths, or if I pick anything up using my abdominals, I'm very concerned. Has anyone else had this at all?
  5. Hi everyone!!! I have scheduled to have my gall bladder removed this Friday, after finding out I have stones! So I'm wondering if anyone has had theirs out either before of after lap-band and how the recovery differs? Is it less or more painful? And are the incision sights as sore? Thank you
  6. I get this EXACT thing, and for me I realized I wa drinking before eating and after too soon!!! Wait at least 20 minutes on both ends and I promise you will feel better, I do
  7. I have a question if anyone can comment, I have a 10cc band and have 5.75cc in. I KNOW everyone varies, but I'm wondering on an average, what is the typical amount of fluid in my size band when the green zone is reached!? Thanks for your comments!
