Rekindle my fire
So I haven't had a fill since January and I had to fight with the pa at that time. I had my surgery in October 2013 and as of January had lost 68 pounds. I had some major issues with this pa telling me before surgery I wouldn't be successful. I stuck with her and every visit had to fit for a fill. I have never been near the green zone. In the last few months I have had horrible issues with (hemmorphoids). That's a whisper word. This affected my diet and exercise. I still walk at times very painful but doing the best I can. I have a fitbit and average 16k-20k steps a day. But I haven't lost a pound. With my insurance now I get billed for fills. I finally scheduled a visit this month with a new pa because I complained. So I'm asking for help. How do I get my fire going again.

October Sleevers - Who else
I was banded oct 14. HW 288. SW 276. Weight now is 218. 70 pounds gone and not coming back. But look for a little help--- I can't lose. Have only lost 10 pounds since January. I have increased exercise but can't lose anymore. It is so hard to get my docs office to give me a fill. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Plateaued and need to get the drive back.
Was doing great. Had surgery oct 14 with a goal to lose 50 by 50. I turn 50 in May. Well I did better than that I hit 50 by Christmas! Boy was I so proud. So I set a new goal. Be in onesies by the time I turn 50. At the end if January that would have been 30 pounds. Thought this should be doable-3 months no problem. But watch out I have only lost 7 since then. Ugh. Y y y y y. I eat 3 meals a day, walk over 12500 steps a day according to my fitbit but I can't lose. I have an appointment for a fill (hopefully) on Wednesday but I feel like I am going to have to argue with the PA to do it. I do feel like I eat more because I am not full. I only have 3ccs I my band. Oh boy- I think she's going to fight me in this. She RARELY fills and I think she will say to control my eating and I'm going to say if I could have done that I wouldn't have needed the band!

"3 week stall"
Oh my what a coincidence!!! I have been the sane weight for 3 weeks and was thinking when will this end! I am 4 months post op so I guess it can happen anytime. I have a fitbit and just keep walking, eating good and hopefully bit will start again. I was to he a onesie by the time I hit 50. So that is 24 pounds and 2 1/2 months!!! Not so sure it will happen but will keep trying.

Official: FitBit Thread
I have the force and I love it. When I forget it my whole day is blown. I track my foot they my fitness pal which syncs to the fitbit. The calories you burn on ur fitbit cross over to my fitness pal. There are also challenges on the website that keep me motivated. I am part of "7 day steps". It takes your steps from 7 days and ranks u. Then you can taunt or cheer on your friends. It monitors your sleep. It has alarms. I set it for every 1.5 hours so when I am sitting to long it reminds me to get up from my desk and walk a little. Soon to come is that you can sync to ur phone and if u get a call u can see who is calling on ur fitbit force. For $129 you can't beat it!

To eat or not to eat.
Have been doing really well with my band. I have lost over 60 pounds since oct 14. There are many times I eat a late breakfast and then around lunch time I am not hungry when it's time to go to lunch. I mentioned this to my docs PA and she said I have to eat 3 meals a day. So my question is this do u eat when it's time to eat or eat when u r hungry? Is it ok to only eat 2 meals a day? I hate to eat if I'm not hungry but she makes me feel like I have to. I really can't change anything unless I eat in the car which is something I have given up. Thoughts, solutions, ideas?

Three days in and feeling a bit confused
I really think it's too early to feel any restriction. The first few months are really hard because you don't have a lot of restriction. I'm 3 months out and have had 2 fills. I can feel some restriction because my band reminds me when I eat too fast or don't chew well. Do t worry u will get there!! Good luck and sugar free Popsicles were my best friend. They count as a liquid.
