  1. You guys are the best! thank you so much for your words. Took a hit when she made the comments to me, but time to shake it off . Thank you all for putting my mind on a better path.
  2. WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!! I AM HAPPY, SCARED, NERVOUS, EXCITED.......HAPPY, JOYFUL, HAPPY!!!!! First OB/GYN appointment is this Friday. I have tried for so long, I just can not believe( scared to believe) it's true!! My husband and daughter are walking around with big smiles on their faces lol!!! I am happy as well, but have this little fear in my heart that just wont die down yet. S.N someone told me yesterday that I was no longer pretty. She felt I was prettier heavy, and now I look sick, and ordinary. Crazy thing is, she was not being mean or vicious. Her comments felt sincere. For that reason, what she said affected me. I keep replaying in my head what she said to me. I am worried that this is gonna be the open "window" to get off track.
  3. congrats!! Please keep posting updates....
  4. congrats!! made the decision this weekend to not wait until November as recommended by surgeon. Can not wait!!!
  5. You are not alone. Trust me, you are not. Get back to basics and stay strong
  6. thank you much!! Pray for us that we get pregnant soon. We have been unsuccessful for so long, that I'm still a little fearful that it wont happen. Although I was told it was due to my weight, I am afraid that something else might be wrong.
  7. The scale finally moved again!!! It didn't happen all at once, but I went from 227 lbs to 216 lbs. I am very happy and pleased with that lost. My work schedule has been absolutely brutal as of late. I get home so late, that going to the gym as been off my radar. This the last week though, and I vowed to myself that I will start again. I actually do miss it. This brings me to my next piece of news. We have decided not to wait until November before getting pregnant !!! The doctor suggested between 12 to 18 months. My labs for my yearly check up were fantastic, so we are moving forward with the baby!!!! The hubby and I went away this weekend( the after picture was taken last night after dinner). While were talking he expressed how happy and proud he was of me( VERY UNUSUAL) and how he couldn't wait for the baby. I am happy with were I am. So I figured why wait?! So it is vital for me that I start exercising again, and keep my body tone and healthy. Enough talking, here is the picture........
  8. So the scale is SLOWWWWLY moving again!! My workload is so heavy right now, I truly can not exercise the way I used to. So I am being extra vigilant with my food intake. I am being a good girl with my Protein, Water, and Vitamins. But I also had some Oreo Cookies today (4 of them) ......Pray for me....... P.S Still on the fence about getting the Sleeve?! DO IT ASAP!!! you can thank me later

get ready for a lot of attention!!!!! some friends might not even realized it's you until you talk to them!! HAVE A GREAT TIME, YOU DESERVE IT!!!!
  10. The one year stall is a beast!!!!!!!! my scale finally budged after weeeeks! 3 lbs! But I was happy to see it. I stayed on top of my protein, water, and stayed from fried process food. But it is a necessary evil. The body needs time to adjust. I just take pictures of myself. Last night I was going to weigh myself, instead I put an old dress of mine on and took pictures. Slept like a baby.
  11. LOVE #3 AND #5!!!!!!
  12. Same here!! I think about getting pregnant DAY AND NIGHT!!! My doctor wants me to wait the full 18 months before I get pregnant. He suggested that I allow my body to get to get to it's lowest before I get pregnant. I JUST CAN NOT WAIT ANY LONGER Plus I am not getting younger! I agreed to wait until about December, than all bets are off. As far as how much I should gained. He said around 25 lbs. And my caloric intake does not need to increase, to maybe, the equivalent of a Peanut Butter sandwich extra a day. Truth be told, I love the way I look now. Another 15 lbs, and I will gladly orchestrate an accident
  13. Never thought I would be so happy over a 3 lbs lost, But I Am!!! I am getting so close to my goal I can taste it I was going through pictures on my old computer and found some old pictures! Thank God I had the surgery
  14. Beside self confidence and pride, feeling free from food!! Being able to eat and walk away from the table without stuffing my face is INCREDIBLE!! I used to eat to a coma, and dream of what I was gonna eat next.
  15. YOU LOOK AMAZING!! younger, happy, FAB!!!

welcome!! Don't worry about the gain. You are packed with all the IV fluids that you received while in the hospital. I remember being hungry at first as well. All I could was think about food. I cried during TV commercials and when I smelled food in my house. But I am here to assure you, it will get better. I learned about head hunger on this site, and it is stronger and more painful than physical hunger. Dehydration makes it worst. One member suggested that I sip on my water/ chrystal light to stay hydrated. That helped curb the edge of the hunger that I was feeling. Stack up on Sugar free Jello, SF Popsicles and Chrystal light. Sip, slow and often and walk as much as you possibly can. Hang in there:)
  17. In the before pic, I was wearing a size 26/28 from Igigi. The after pic is a XL dress from Marshalls. The bikini might have to wait until after my nip and tuck lol!!
  18. good to hear from you! I will look forward to your pictures. Even if you don't post them, take plenty to record your journey.
  19. thank you! I am going back to that color next week
  20. YOU ARE SO RIGHT!! thanks for posting this. Opened my eyes!!!
