11 months post-op - major stall

I'm feeling a bit discouraged. I'm 11 months post-op and I've been at the same weight since April. I know I haven't been eating terrible, but I know I haven't been eating great either. I know I need to up my exercise too. Has anyone else stalled for this long and then been able to get back into routine and lose more weight? I've got about 40lbs to go. Just need some encouragement.

Get back to basics, protein, protein, protein, and veggies. Weight does slow down the further out you get. Just get yourself back on track and go walking......You've done well so far so let's not stop

  • Maybe your body is in starvation mode. Try upping your calorie intake if that is the case. I am sure you have made great progress, dont feel discouraged and think about how far you have come along!

I had a stall that lasted from April until a week ago. It was so frustrating but I kept going.

The one year stall is a beast!!!!!!!! my scale finally budged after weeeeks! 3 lbs! But I was happy to see it. I stayed on top of my protein, water, and stayed from fried process food. But it is a necessary evil. The body needs time to adjust. I just take pictures of myself. Last night I was going to weigh myself, instead I put an old dress of mine on and took pictures. Slept like a baby.

I am feeling so down .... I don't understand what's going on . I had my surgery Nov 13 , 2012 .. I lost about 50 lbs , but i have come to a complete stop . I have not lost a single ounce for about 3 months ..... people told me that maybe i wasnt eating enough ,,, but I know that i am not over eating and not under eating .... I am so deprssed that I threw out my scale . Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee help ! has anyone gone through this ?? by this time I should have lost more.

It is very very sad to think that I went through all of this , and although i have lost 50 lbs ... I am still looked on as fat .
