Fitness Plan ideas

13 months out. I had previously been doing zumba and turbo fire but I recently discovered zuzka on YouTube and I love her. Been doing her cardio and just got the strength training DVD set.
2. Great job, I thought that I was the only one who wanted to be just overweight

NSV

I agree it is an awesome feeling. It took my coworkers to yell at me when I came to work in my size 18 pants, but I was a 14 plus. I couldn't see it at all, I thought the pants were a little loose but I noticed that looked like a clown when I finally took the time to really see the weight loss and not focus on my fatty areas.

August Sleevers..what Is The Progress

I had my anniversary on 8/15 I am down a total of 93 pounds and this was the best decision of my life. I attached a pic of myself with the outfit that I had on the morning of surgery.

August Sleevers..what Is The Progress

I haven't figured out what I'm going to do. I was hoping to be down 100 by then but I am so happy with the 92 so far. I'm not ready for new clothes yet. I'm thinking maybe I'll try to walk/jog a 5k next month.

How much pizza can you eat ?

I am totally a pizza junkie, I can eat 1 slice of regular and 1/2 slice of sicilian. I usually go plain cause toppings fill me up too quickly.

Buyers remorse anyone?

I do not have buyers remorse having surgery was the best thing that I could have ever done for myself. I'm down 88 pounds from my highest weight and I feel great. Yes, I go out with friends and want to have a drink with my meal and get frustrated. I wish I had done it years ago.

Cruise dining

I went on a cruise 3 mos post op and it was hard at first but actually lost 7 pounds on the boat. On each cruise prior to this one I've gained 5-10 pounds. I didn't go to any buffets but I had a hard time with sushi. I exercised each morning and felt great doing it.

11 months post-op - major stall

I had a stall that lasted from April until a week ago. It was so frustrating but I kept going.

Turbo Jam anyone?

I think that I need to eat a lot more when I do heavy cardio as well. I find that if I don't eat more calories then I feel light headed after 30 minute or so.

Turbo Jam anyone?

I've been doing her turbo fire and turbo jam routines they are a blast. I honestly do better when I add more weights to my exercise but I love the energy from those routines.

Im addicted to weighing "/

I am happy that I am not the only one doing this. I think that doing my weight daily keeps me accountable, I've been known to put on an excessive amount of weight in a very short time. I don't get too upset when the scale goes up, I've learned that my cycle has a huge impact on my weight. I guess the only measurement that upsets me is my waist, it takes forever to lose inches there. Pretty soon my hips will be smaller than my waist, not sure if that is possible though.

Seriously? Does everyone exercise?

I hate to exercise too but I get out and do it 4-5 days per week. I'm down 85 pounds since August and I know that if I didn't force myself I wouldn't be this far. I too have friends who've had WLS and don't exercise but still lose. I hate hearing their stories but I still push myself. What helps me is variety, I use dvds and I walk outside. It is a struggle to keep going but I don't want to gain the weight back.

SUPER MAJOR NSV!

That is great! Congrats!
21. Thank you so much for posting this. I have had several episodes of close calls but recently I had an accident while I was on the telephone with my girlfriend. I had developed the sweats and figured that I would be ok but I was sooo wrong. After about 2-3 minutes I knew that I wouldn't make it but my friend wouldn't shut up. I figured that I could let a little gas out but I was wrong. Before I knew it, I had poop running down my leg and she was still talking! I had to finally say, I have to go! I was home alone and was embarrassed so I can only imagine how u felt on the side of the road.

does hair loss ALWAYS happen?

I'm not sure why but I didn't have any hair loss. I'm 10 months out
23. I can understand your frustration with your hair. I decided to loc my hair because having it pressed was becoming a hassle with exercise. My cousin uses weaves in order to swim...good luck

Shout out your Nsv's

I've been driving the same car since 2005 and I have never been able to push the gas button without opening the door, due to my large abdomen getting in the way. I was finally able to push the gas button without opening the car door last week. It's funny because I didn't even realize that I had done it until I realized that my door was still locked.
