  1. It's been like that for me since day one. I have always been able to drink liquids fairly easily. Some of us are just lucky that way. Don't be alarmed just go with it.
  2. Tortilla, wraps, and wonton wrappers. I am 11 weeks out and I have had bread and it doesn't make me sick. I just make other choices since I get full really quick. I can't eat all of my protein if I have it. I would only eat a little and see how you feel.
  3. This too will pass. Just keep doing what your doing and eventually the stall will break. You could eat a little more and that may fool your body out of starvation mode. I am told stalls are your bodies way of adjusting to the change.
  4. I am sure it will go away. I am glad it's under control. I am sure someone will chime in.
  5. I am so sorry. That is kind of a touchy subject. I've never had them but be glad you have not had any issues with constipation. It took my body a moment to adjust to all the protein. I try to get fiber in via veggies or fruit. That is the worst and all those over the counter drugs are disgusting.
  6. Congrats on your loss! You have done amazing and you should be so proud. It takes a lot of guts to go on this weight loss journey but you deserve to be healthy. I don't care how much we weigh, we all are beautiful, inside and out. Don't mourn the person you were, celebrate the person you are and the even better person you will be. This journey changes us all and even if you don't lose another pound know your value and worth.
  7. Congrats, 110 lbs is an entire person! How did you do it? Amazing. I am at 11 weeks and have been losing about 2lbs a week. I know we all have our own journeys but I am so J.
  8. I think this is a recipe from egg face that uses wonton wraps and ground beef made in cupcake tins. Small bariatric servings. http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2008/05/bacon-cheeseburger-bites.html
  9. Wow. Amazing progress congrats!
  10. I am not sure as I personally hate all of the unflavored Proteins. I mostly drink Premier Protein or Isopure.
  11. My Docs plan introduced regular foods at week 3 chewed thoroughly. Congrats on you weight loss! Sounds like you are doing really well. I have always wondered about the variations in food progression from doctor to doctor. Good luck on your journey.
  12. I had apple juice and grape juice in the hospital. Sounds interesting do you add protein to it?
  13. Yup, there are some that have it fairly easy. I had no gas and woke up thinking it had not been done. Went home very next day from the hospital. Never had issues taking in liquids. Guess Just lucky. I am a slow loser so maybe that balances things out. Enjoy it.
  14. My doc said 8 weeks before I could lift or exercise outside of walking.
  15. I was told from my Nut 120-140 based on my weight. I take two protein shakes per day an usually hit 90 to 100 on a good day I have gotten 120. I like the other calculation because I am usually at 90 grams.
  16. That stinks some insurance coordinators are better than most. I went to a doctor who had a bariatric coordinator who did not return calls. I actually switched offices to another practice. Life is too short to deal with ratchet arse bariatric coordinators. I am a stressor so I need someone on their job. I am sorry for your troubles, I hope things get better.
  17. I think your best friend is worried about the surgery. One of my good friends had a grandmother pass from gastric bypas. She was really worried about me. She kept telling me about people who died from it or who threw up all the time. This was a cousin who had the lapband. Wls is scary to those who don't know anything about it. Ask her to go with you to one of your support group meetings. She will come around. In the meantime you have us. :-)
  18. I do have more energy and my clothes are looser. Although I am in the same size. I should be more thankful and I know I sound like a brat but I guess I had expected to lose more. :-)
  19. I guess it's worth a try. Thanks!
