  1. Congratulations! Isn't it crazy? Great NSV!
  2. I think you should talk to your doctor maybe the dosage should be adjusted. I have heard this being the case for some vsg patients. We process things a little differently plus you have lost weight. Aren't prescriptions based on body weight?I know this is true for my kids.
  3. I think we are all obsessed pre surgery. I know it consumed me. I started a vlog on YouTube and everything. It will be a year June 15th. Good luck to you all. It was the best experience for me. My self esteem is through the roof. I feel great and totally recommend the surgery.
  4. Congrats! I have bouts of self control and then my poor habits start to rear their ugly head. I am trying to detox myself. I am down btwn a 4/6. I probably would have a Cinnabon bite or something.
  5. Congratulations! That is amazing.
  6. You look great and what a cutie your cat is!
  7. This happened to one of the lady's on this site. I am not sure if it is common because it has not been my experience. . I remember reading about it a couple months ago. The OP had issue with GERD after the surgery and bypass was the only cure. I hope things work out and you get some relief. Keep your head up.
  8. Cool. Then maybe I'll get one. Although I am pretty much covered on the calories front. I don't really care about steps too much.
  9. I have a polar watch since I take Zumba and want to know my calories burned during my work outs. The Fitbit only really measures steps and sleep. Does the bodybugg measure calories burned on all exercises or just steps?
  10. Congratulations! What a beautiful baby.
  11. Wonder why it's hidden?
  12. Yesterday I was at 1393. I am 8 months out and I felt so guilty. Today is another day. Jumped on the scale and was165. Didn't gain a lb. I am going to try not to do that again at least until I get to goal. This was my all time worst day. Too much noshing on candy at work.
  13. You both look amazing! Congrats on your Wl and plastics journey's.
  14. I love it. Lol. :-)
  15. Way too much. I am at 7 mos and last nights dinner was two ounces of salmon and two bites of kale. Stuffed.
  16. Each person is different. I am 7 mos out and I can eat half a burger with bun. The bread fills me up.
  17. I love your story. So motivating. Congrats, you are truly amazing!
  18. Ok so all this talk of cheeseburgers has got me craving one. So tonights dinner is Jenny O turkey burgers, 200 cal, 16 grams of protein, 2% american cheese, 45 cal, 4 grams of protein, hamburger bun, 120 cal, 4 grams of protein. I can only eat 1/2 for a total of 183 cal, 12 grams of protein. Probably too many carbs but overall not bad.
  19. No problem. I am 7 mos in and I don't do Chinese much anymore. I eat according to what feels good and rice and pastas fill me up too quickly. If I have Chinese I have teriyaki chicken, no rice. I tried after a few months and it made me sick so I just recently tried it again and it was ok. Head hunger is the worse but it gets better. It gets to a point where you recognize the difference.
  20. Glad I don't have any MFP friends.
  21. Not sure but I recall dreaming about a chocolate cake and eating the entire cake. I woke up sad and a feeling a little guilty because it was just a dream.
